Although we make the most important decisions regarding the equipment at the stage of purchasing the right caravan or car, there is nothing to prevent us from taking care of the appropriate equipment later. The list of devices that we can equip our house on wheels with is so long that the main limitation will be our financial capabilities or, possibly, the capacity of our vehicle. And since space is always limited, it's worth analyzing what you really need while camping before shopping. Let us take into account the conditions in which we travel most often, because something else will be useful for people who use a caravan on hot days on a campsite, and something else for motorhome users, visiting countries in different climatic zones and spending most of their time on the move.

How to equip a caravan or motorhome?

Andorra La Vella, meaning literally "Old Andorra", is the capital of the Principality of Andorra, a tiny country hugging Spain and France. It lies in a valley between the mountains and is the highest European capital. We find it on the southern slopes of the Pyrenees, at the mouth of the Valila del Norte River. Its location (at an altitude of 1,409 m above sea level) has made it popular among skiers for a long time. A stone building from the 16th century catches the eye of tourists in the village. This is Casa de la Vall, now the seat of parliament. In the so-called The Cabinet of the Seven Keys, located in the meeting room, holds the archives of the principality and symbolic keys to the seven parishes of Andorra. What else draws attention? The market square, which - as for the city center - is an amazingly peaceful place. In addition, the entire Andorra Valley can be seen from it.

A trip to Slovakia is a quick and effective way to ensure a pleasant entertainment and get to know the attractions that await just abroad - so close, nothing but reach. In just a few hours, we can find ourselves in one of the most beautiful Slovak cities, Kremnica. Just beyond the Polish-Slovak border is Trzciana (Trstená), a small town that was an important craft center in the past. There were many guilds in it, the most recognized being the guild of potters. Their products were characterized by characteristic ornaments, and the pottery clay of very good quality in the vicinity contributed to the intensive development of pottery. Tourists visiting the center can get acquainted with folk art, such as blacksmithing, ceramics and basketry - the local Cultural Center is very active.

There are those who assume in advance that in terms of equipment, the caravan will always lose to the motorhome. Does a small Eriba-Touring give grounds to challenge this opinion?. Well, even the greatest skeptic will probably be able to convince you that a 7-8 meter caravan can be equipped no worse than a luxury motorhome. But what can be said about the trailer, which measures 483 cm in its shortest version and 576 cm in the longest? Both campers and caravans have their ardent supporters. But when making a choice, it is best to take into account more than just personal preferences. A camper is a house on wheels. There should be everything you need inside. You can go anywhere in the world with it, as long as... the camper fits there. Unlike the living space in a camper, you can disconnect the trailer from the car, leave it at the campsite, and then explore the area by car, forgetting about the heavy ballast. In extreme situations, it is easy to lose control of the trailer. However, to minimize this risk, it is worth spending some time and energy on its proper preparation. The trailer will be stable if you prepare it properly. Correct tire pressure is absolutely essential - if it is in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, the whole set will be more stable on the road.

The town is known as the place of rest for princess Sissi herself, and today it is adored by winter sports enthusiasts. Every year, a team of alpine skiers and snowboarders meet here at the World Cup. Due to its location - 1,550 m above sea level - and gondola lifts open all year round, Madonna di Campiglio is the starting point for mountain climbing.
