A must-see for anyone visiting Zakopane for the first time is the famous viewpoint, Gubałówka. You can organize a walk to the top of this beautiful mountain, which is not the easiest one, or take a special cable car. If you decide to go for a walk, you must take at least an hour to travel along the trail, which is very well marked. If you choose the cable car, you will be at the top in just 5 minutes. The views you can observe from the top are truly unforgettable. You can see practically the entire panorama of the beautiful Polish Tatra Mountains and even parts of the Slovak range. The largest caravanning fair in the world, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, opens to the general public on Saturday, August 31 and will last until the next Sunday, September 8. The Friday before the fair is traditionally reserved for representatives of the press and the industry. If you plan to come to the fair with your own motorhome, remember that you can stay at a temporary campsite called Caravan Center, which is located right next to the fair. Buses run from the Caravan Center every 5 minutes, which will take you free of charge to the entrance to the fair.
