Volkswagen California vs Panama at Ford
Recently, I had the opportunity to directly compare 2 small campervans, which are practically no different in terms of functionality. However, something distinguishes them. We are talking about the already iconic Volkswagen California Coast and a new brand on the Polish and European market, i.e. the Panama P10 + model. Both campers are built on short chassis versions, which do not exceed 5m, while California is not available in the longer version. Panama can be ordered according to your needs - the P10 + model with a 497 cm long chassis or the P54 model with a length of 534 cm.

Electricity and electricity in a motorhome - EcoFlow stations
Probably everyone who drives a motorhome or caravan has encountered a power deficit on board. On the other hand, we are now used to using many electrically powered devices on a daily basis. Therefore, it is hard for us to imagine their absence during shorter or longer trips with a motorhome. To receive electricity in our house on wheels with a voltage of 230V, i.e. the same as in a home socket - we have to connect the motorhome to the electricity network, e.g. at the campground. Another way is to equip the motorhome with a voltage converter . One of the tasks of the converter is to change the voltage of 12V (we get it directly from the battery) to 230V, which allows us to power devices such as laptops, miksey, drones, cameras, dryers, waffle irons, toasters, coffee machines, various chargers, etc.

Niesmann-Bischoff Arto 77e - a beautiful motorhome [TEST CampRest]
During the past Christmas, we had the opportunity to test a very luxurious Niesmann + Bischoff motorhome, the Arto 77e model in the face2face layout. For almost 4 weeks, we traveled 9,000 km in this motorhome from Poland to Portugal. We traveled it as a family of four with two children aged 2 and 5. It was a great holiday in an amazing motorhome, which I wanted to ride for a long time ... When you enter the stand of this brand during the fair in Dusseldorf, you immediately know that the team of designers are real experts because the stand itself stands out from the rest.

MiVue Drive 65 LM navigation test: navigation and camera in one
The sight of a GPS navigation device stuck to the windshield of a car is an everyday reality. More and more drivers are also choosing to install a recording camera, which may be helpful in investigating a possible car accident. However, multiplying items stuck to the windshield can limit visibility, and the numerous dangling cables can be just annoying. The solution comes with the MiVue Drive 65 LM navigation, which has a built-in camera. We tested the device during the last trips in a motorhome with a DMC 5t, where it was very important to navigate so as not to get stuck on a tonnage ban or under a too low viaduct.

Frankia Platin 7900GD - motorhome for PLN 800,000 - CampRest test
Imagine a motorhome, the basic equipment of which allows you to simply get in it, start the engine and set off on a long journey. Without having to retrofit it with any additional devices. Imagine a luxury motorhome colloquially known as "Liner", but still in a compact size, not resembling a huge cruise bus. This is what the PLATIN model produced in the German FRANKIA factory is like. I had the opportunity to test this motorhome for 3 weeks with my family at the turn of 2019/2020. We made this motorhome about 2500 km on highways and very winding and steep mountain passes, we moved around large cities and villages and we spent a wonderful Christmas and New Year's Eve in this motorhome.

A bicycle camper, i.e. Globe-Traveler Pathfinder Z - Test CampRest
I don't think I need to introduce the Globe-Traveler brand because I have written about it many times. I also had the opportunity to personally test the Voyager XS and Pathfinders XS models, which I also described and encourage you to read (links to the articles are under the names of the models). I wanted to test the bicycle "Z-eta" for a long time because I was very interested in it thanks to the huge trunk for this type of motorhome. Unfortunately, all demo cars built in this version traveled around Europe to the next fair or were sold just before delivery.

Adria Matrix Axess 670 SL - motorhome test
We tested the Adria Matrix model from the Slovenian manufacturer's factory for 7 days. That's enough time to learn about the advantages and disadvantages of this motorhome. See for yourself what impressions this vehicle gave us. Immediately after the end of the first edition of theCaravanning Summer Show , which took place in Władysławowo in mid-July, we had the opportunity to test the semi-integrated motorhome of the Adria Matrix Axess 670 SL brand. The car was lent to us by the distributor of this brand, i.e. the Elcamp Group from Krakow. This company also exhibited at the fair, and Adria's motorhome aroused a lot of interest.

Compressor refrigerator Dometic CFX 100W - Test CampRest
During the last trip, we had the opportunity to test a compressor refrigerator provided to us by Dometic Poland. Dometic refrigerators were known to us before, because we have been using the CFX 40 in our Opel Vivaro for 3 years. This time we checked how the maxi-refrigerator will work in a minivan. The Dometic brand itself does not need to be introduced to tourism enthusiasts on board a motorhome or with a trailer on a hook. It is also worth knowing that this Swedish company known for the production of caravanning equipment is also the world's largest manufacturer of portable refrigerators.

1000 kilometers in a Globe-Traveler Voyager XS motorhome. CampRest test
For the Voyager XS test, we have been signing up with Elcamp (the manufacturer of Globe-Traveler motorhomes) for several months, but the final free date was not found until mid-November. And since it is a particularly busy period in our editorial office, the test had to be extremely short. Short but intense! We covered 1000 km in four days. At the beginning of the year, we tested a very similar model from this Polish manufacturer, namely the Pathfinder XS (see description here ). Therefore, I will not elaborate on the interior layout - it is almost identical. Instead, I will try to describe the differences that I consider quite important and I hope that they will help you when choosing a new home on wheels.

Motorhome test: Pilote G741 Sensation
Traditionally, when we went to the Caravan Salon fair in Düsseldorf, we took a Pilote motorhome for tests. This time we had the opportunity to test the largest and most luxurious vehicle we have received for testing so far. We are talking about a fully integrated motorhome by Pilote, model G741 in the Sensation equipment option, built on the basis of Fiat Ducato with AL-KO chassis. The vehicle was registered for the first time in mid-2016, and at the time of the test it had approx. 32 thousand. km.
