This is our second trip to Switzerland by motorhome in cooperation with the tourist organization My Switzerland. This year we chose the beginning of June for our trip, to be able to enter the passes, which are closed in the winter and spring. Virtually all Swiss passes do not open until early June. We spent Christmas in a camper once again. In 2019 we were in Italy. In 2020, we went to Portugal because there was more sun and fewer restrictions. We spent 26 days in the camper. We set out on December 13 from the south of Poland. We traveled a total of 9,000 km with two small children on board. Was it worth it? Yes, yes and yes again. We fell in love with Portugal and will definitely come back here more than once. I present to you my summary of the course and exam for the category C driving license, which I did in the first half of 2021. The order of the described events is not accidental. The owners of such campsites are probably well aware of how important it is to maintain heat in the toilets at all times of the year, especially in autumn and winter . Campsites in the mountains often have heated toilets all year round, because at an altitude of 1,500 m above sea level it is also cold in summer. Such rooms have tight doors and windows, vestibules, and you will be happy to take off your outer clothes right after crossing the threshold. For the list, I chose campsites that are good not only for sleeping and going further, but may also be a place where you can stay for a longer time. Austria is rarely a travel destination for Poles (except in winter, of course). It's a pity, because the campsites have great facilities and are located in beautiful places with great sports infrastructure. So I will describe how far it is from the nearest highway exit, but I will try to describe these places to encourage you to plan an additional few days at these campsites.

Is traveling with a child possible? Sure! Is it possible to go camping with a child? Of course, at least some things are definitely changing. Below are some points that we paid attention to during recent years of traveling with children. I would also like to draw attention to what has NOT changed. Traveling with small children does not mean that a camping trip will be more expensive. Many campsites will not charge a single penny for children under 2 years of age. They will charge much less for those up to 6 years of age. Travel costs remain unchanged, indeed! Even going to a restaurant doesn't cost much because children usually eat off our plate.

Everyone has their own definition of a small campsite. For me, these are facilities with about 200 plots, but for others even such facilities may seem too large, so I decided that this list will not include campsites that have more than 250 plots or are no larger than 5 ha. But at the same time, I also included here really small (you could even say backyard) facilities that have a dozen or so plots in their area. This may surprise you, but most of these facilities have 4 stars, so small does not mean worse!
