Marathon di Roma is extremely popular among both experienced marathoners and running enthusiasts. The beginning of this event was related to the popularization of sport and tourist promotion of the city. Today it is one of the most important marathons in the world . In 2018, the 24th edition of Acea Maratona di Roma will take place. The start of the event is scheduled for April 8 at 8:40.
