The season started long ago in Austria's largest ski resort. Thanks to its excellent location, the Stubai Glacier offers skiers excellent snow conditions from October to June. Covering 12 km2, the Stubai Glacier is Austria's largest winter sports resort. Due to the appropriate altitudes between 1,750 and 3,200 m above sea level, it guarantees excellent snow conditions. Austria can pride itself on a ski resort that has operated much longer than the competition. Thanks to its location at an altitude of 1,750-3,200 m above sea level, winter sports enthusiasts can come here in months when other resorts have been closed for a long time. There are great conditions for skiing here from October until June. What routes are we talking about? About the Stubai Glacier and its slopes, attracting thousands of avid skiers - more and more every year.

How to turn a van into a motorhome?

If skiing and snowing, it's not necessarily Switzerland or Austria. It may well be Slovakia and the center of Jasná Low Tatras. Modern lifts, beautiful slopes and the proximity of Tatralandia - that's it!. In the vicinity of Szczyrk, Żywiec and Žilina, there is a large ski resort - Jasná Low Tatras . It is the most popular and largest resort in Slovakia, and its routes stretch along the southern and northern slopes of Chopok Mountain, creating one large resort since 2007. We can find it at the end of the village of Demänovská Dolina, in the foothills of the Low Tatras. The ski season in Jasna usually starts at the beginning of December and lasts until the end of April.

Besides, unskilful attempts to start a fire can end up burning out all the matches, finishing the gas in the lighter and severely straining our patience. In order for the new model to appeal to young people, an interesting design was taken care of. The interior is dominated by bright colors and rounded shapes of furniture . Elements that are supposed to give the impression of coziness, such as colorful upholstery, have been combined with modern, smooth surfaces of bathroom doors or openwork sides of a bunk bed.

In the central part of Sweden, in the Jämtland region, is the charming village of Vemdalen. It is a popular ski base located at the foot of the Swedish part of the Scandinavian Mountains. The ski season here generally lasts from the end of October to April. About half of the slopes are artificially snowed. The beauty of the region attracts lovers of rugged landscapes, and the variety of leisure opportunities means that the resort is visited by thousands of winter sports fans each year. Vemdalen advertises itself as a resort where snow is guaranteed . In the period from December 20, 2013 to April 23, 2014, tourists visiting the resort can be sure that they will have access to at least 26 slopes, including trails with a minimum slope of 300 meters. Vemdalen boasts extremely good conditions for winter sports - the resort is located at a high altitude, and in the winter season the thermometer consistently shows sub-zero temperatures, which means that there is a lot of snowfall. In the event that, for any reason, the thickness of the snow cover turns out to be insufficient, a modern snowmaking system will provide skiers with ideal conditions for skiing. In other words, there is no way that there is no snow here and the holiday was unsuccessful.

After Toruń, Kazimierz, Sandomierz and Płock, it's time for Ciechocinek. It was here, in the famous Polish sanatorium, that the 5th Rally of caravanning enthusiasts took place. It didn't matter whether the participants owned campers, traveled the world with a caravan or simply packed a tent into the car - the only thing that mattered was their passion for independent travel. The rallies have been organized for five years, and the chosen place is always the city on the Vistula River. This year, Ciechocinek and the newly opened campsite were chosen. As the meeting organizers emphasize, this year's rally was the largest. Sixty crews came from all over the country, and a total of approximately one hundred and eighty people participated in the meeting. The rally of caravanning enthusiasts started just before Independence Day. The participants arrived at the campsite on November 8 and left after 11 a.m., treating the rally as the closing of the season.

Just beyond the Czech border, in the eastern part of the Giant Mountains, there is the Pec pod Śnieżką ski resort. It is located in a picturesque valley under the highest mountain in the country (1602 m above sea level). Despite the fact that the length of the routes and the number of lifts does not match the Alpine resorts, for years it has been very popular among tourists, including Poles. Only 17 km from the border with Poland is the Pec pod Sněžkou ski resort, which is part of the new SkiResort Černa Hora - Pec project. After purchasing one pass, skiers wishing to use the local slopes will have access to the slopes of several ski resorts: Janske Lazne, Wielka Upa, Svoboda nad Upa and Czarny Dół. The resort also includes some routes of Mała Upa. In the season, free ski buses run between individual resorts on four main lines, thanks to which you can easily get to the routes. In addition, tourists can use the City bus network in the resorts of Czarny Dół, Janske Lazne and Pec pod Śnieżką.
