Just press one button to gain an additional 5 square meters of space. Is that a lot? It turns out that it is. The interior of Inos, after sliding the seating area apart, is really spacious. The sliding part has both a large double bed and a sofa. After sliding this part off, the caravan will present a neat shape from the outside, but the corridor will disappear from the inside. This means that you need to move the room apart to be able to move around on the caravan. However, such a solution serves a good layout of the living space. It is worth noting that Inos has a really spacious bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and separate ventilation. The bathroom floor was lined with non-slip material.

. After a good rest, it's time to move on to the rest of the journey. This time we are heading to the capital of Canada, the city of Ottawa. It is about 200 km from Montreal, and there are many interesting and worth seeing places along the way. Vankleek Hill, a town that organizes several nice festivals each year, is definitely a must. Step-dancing and Squaredancing Competition takes place here in July, Vankleek Hill Fair in August, and Victorian Christmas Home Tour in November. It is worth adding that the last festival is associated with the city's main attraction - magnificent Victorian -style houses . Tourists are also attracted by the beautiful murals that can be seen on the walls of historic buildings in the center.

In Poland, the prices of Knaus Sky-i start from 65,600 euro. Interestingly, the price on the German website of the manufacturer is lower and amounts to EUR 63,290 (perhaps the reason is the higher VAT tax in Poland). However, it is still about 10,000 more than for a Fiat Ducato with an "attached" camping container. So what do we get in return?. Sky-i is more angular, so it should also be easier to arrange inside. The large windshield was set at a lower angle than in the Fiat Ducato. There are four versions of the motorhome with two lengths to choose from. The shorter model measures 696 cm x 234 cm and the longer model measures 744 cm x 234 cm. Up to six sleeping places can be installed in each version.

And Montreal itself is waiting for us - to get from Quebec to Montreal, we will have to cover 254 km. Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and the largest seaport in the eastern part of the country. It is situated on the island of the same name (Il de Montreal) and several smaller islets east of the confluence of the Ottawa and Saint Lawrence rivers.

The best solution is probably the mini-garages provided in the largest motorhomes. Not only a few bicycles can fit there, but also e.g. a scooter or a motorcycle. However, most motorhomes do not have this facility. So you have to deal differently. Two types of luggage racks are most commonly used. The first type - intended for motorhomes, is mounted on the rear wall of the vehicle. The second type are racks mounted on the trailer drawbar. In a motorhome, a rack such as the Omni-Bike Lift should work very well. It is mounted on the rear wall of the trailer in the form of a ladder to which two rails are attached. Bicycles are mounted on these rails. The distance between the wall of the motorhome and the first rail is 40 cm. 30 cm further there is the second rail.

After resting in beautiful Saint John , we can get ready to move on to the rest of the route - there are huge expanses of Canada ahead of us, waiting to be explored. Before leaving the city, however, it is worth paying some attention to its beautiful architecture and nature. Walking along the Bay of Fundy will calm everyone down, as will watching the hundreds of species of birds that live here and the waves crashing on the shores. Walking routes of the Irving Nature Park, the gorge of the Saint John River carved by the water or the Stonehammer Geopark recognized by UNESCO as a geological heritage are really worth seeing.

If we want to be sure that our navigation will certainly work well in a motorhome, we have two solutions to choose from. The first, more popular, is the choice of navigation designed with trucks in mind. The second variant is still not very popular navigation for vans. Some of the two types of these devices have special functions that are specific to RVs. We will look at two such devices. The vast majority of motorhomes are currently built on the basis of Fiat Ducato. It is not surprising then that the device dedicated to motorhomes was prepared precisely in order to replace the factory multimedia devices installed in Ducato.

Admittedly, such a trip is not cheap, but with a little self-denial, saving skills and having organizational skills, you can spend a wonderful holiday overseas without having to take a loan.

From Halifax to Saint John - the beginning of the Canada tour

A streamlined front, a dynamic-looking rear with sharply cut lights and an aluminum strip, as well as a gray print on the side wall - all this makes the Knaus Eurostar trailer look very modern (the manufacturer even calls it "3D optics"). You may also like black painted alloy wheels. Eurostar comes in three varieties, each 2.5 meters wide. The 500 EU model was designed with five passengers in mind. The total length of this trailer is 808 cm, but inside it is only 532 cm (the so-called effective length). The internal height is 196 cm. The trailer with its equipment weighs 1,730 kg and its permissible total weight is 2,000 kg.

Motorized tourists have no major problems with organizing a quick trip abroad. Those without cars also, but in their case you have to become dependent on public transport and look at your watch more often. However, if you have your own vehicle, after about three hours you can be in the beautiful Slovak city of Žilina. It is a metropolis located in the north-west of Slovakia, at the confluence of three rivers - Kysuce, Rajčianka and Váh. Žilina is not a large city, but undoubtedly the largest in the north-central part of the country. It is also beautifully restored, especially its historic center, which was thoroughly rebuilt in 1990. The historic buildings in this district belong to a historic reserve.

A bottle like a bottle. Perhaps a bit prettier than the regular one, but to pay PLN 50 for it?. It turns out that it is not only the appearance that distinguishes it! The American manufacturer has created the world's first bottle with a built-in filter that captures chlorine and other organic pollutants contained in water. This means that with such a bottle, we can take water from almost any tap and not worry about its chemical content. The filter works when you drink it to trap contaminants before the water escapes. The filter will clean it of everything that is unnecessary or unhealthy. One filter should be sufficient for 150 liters of water, i.e. for approx. 300 refills of the bottle. After this time, you can change the bottle to a new one or buy a new filter. The bottle is available with filters in six colors.
