If skiing and snowing, it's not necessarily Switzerland or Austria. It may well be Slovakia and the center of Jasná Low Tatras. Modern lifts, beautiful slopes and the proximity of Tatralandia - that's it!. In the vicinity of Szczyrk, Żywiec and Žilina, there is a large ski resort - Jasná Low Tatras . It is the most popular and largest resort in Slovakia, and its routes stretch along the southern and northern slopes of Chopok Mountain, creating one large resort since 2007. We can find it at the end of the village of Demänovská Dolina, in the foothills of the Low Tatras. The ski season in Jasna usually starts at the beginning of December and lasts until the end of April.

After Marrakesh and Casablanca, Fez, one of the most famous cities in this exotic country, should also be on the list of must-see points for a trip around Morocco. It is here that the University of al-Karaouine (al-Qarawiyyin) is located, according to the Guinness Book of Records and UNESCO, the oldest university in the world. Also in this city you will find the world's largest medina, the sight of which will make you nystagmus and perhaps even claustrophobic. After returning to Poland, even the owner of a very cramped studio will look at his apartment differently, surprised by its spaciousness.

During the stay at the campsite, sooner or later we will definitely want to have a barbecue or organize an atmospheric evening by the fire. While the former is not a major problem, and we will have the materials needed to prepare the grill with us, lighting a fire requires a bit more preparation. First of all, we cannot afford them everywhere. Besides, unskilful attempts to start a fire can end up burning out all the matches, finishing the gas in the lighter and severely straining our patience. Meanwhile, half of the success lies in good quality kindling, which we can make ourselves.

How to light a fire in a different way than usual?

In the central part of Sweden, in the Jämtland region, is the charming village of Vemdalen. It is a popular ski base located at the foot of the Swedish part of the Scandinavian Mountains. The ski season here generally lasts from the end of October to April. About half of the slopes are artificially snowed. The beauty of the region attracts lovers of rugged landscapes, and the variety of leisure opportunities means that the resort is visited by thousands of winter sports fans each year. Vemdalen advertises itself as a resort where snow is guaranteed . In the period from December 20, 2013 to April 23, 2014, tourists visiting the resort can be sure that they will have access to at least 26 slopes, including trails with a minimum slope of 300 meters. Vemdalen boasts extremely good conditions for winter sports - the resort is located at a high altitude, and in the winter season the thermometer consistently shows sub-zero temperatures, which means that there is a lot of snowfall. In the event that, for any reason, the thickness of the snow cover turns out to be insufficient, a modern snowmaking system will provide skiers with ideal conditions for skiing. In other words, there is no way that there is no snow here and the holiday was unsuccessful.

Vemdalen - skiing to Sweden

After Toruń, Kazimierz, Sandomierz and Płock, it's time for Ciechocinek. It was here, in the famous Polish sanatorium, that the 5th Rally of caravanning enthusiasts took place. It didn't matter whether the participants owned campers, traveled the world with a caravan or simply packed a tent into the car - the only thing that mattered was their passion for independent travel. The rallies have been organized for five years, and the chosen place is always the city on the Vistula River. This year, Ciechocinek and the newly opened campsite were chosen. As the meeting organizers emphasize, this year's rally was the largest. Sixty crews came from all over the country, and a total of approximately one hundred and eighty people participated in the meeting. The rally of caravanning enthusiasts started just before Independence Day. The participants arrived at the campsite on November 8 and left after 11 a.m., treating the rally as the closing of the season.

Just beyond the Czech border, in the eastern part of the Giant Mountains, there is the Pec pod Śnieżką ski resort. It is located in a picturesque valley under the highest mountain in the country (1602 m above sea level). Despite the fact that the length of the routes and the number of lifts does not match the Alpine resorts, for years it has been very popular among tourists, including Poles. Only 17 km from the border with Poland is the Pec pod Sněžkou ski resort, which is part of the new SkiResort Černa Hora - Pec project. After purchasing one pass, skiers wishing to use the local slopes will have access to the slopes of several ski resorts: Janske Lazne, Wielka Upa, Svoboda nad Upa and Czarny Dół. The resort also includes some routes of Mała Upa. In the season, free ski buses run between individual resorts on four main lines, thanks to which you can easily get to the routes. In addition, tourists can use the City bus network in the resorts of Czarny Dół, Janske Lazne and Pec pod Śnieżką.

On the other side of Śnieżka

In the western part of Switzerland, in the canton of Bern, there is a city on whose name many Poles have been breaking their tongues for a long time. Gstaad is a famous tourist and ski resort, part of the Saanen urban complex. It attracts visitors all year round with its rich tourist infrastructure, greenery and interesting architecture, but it owes its greatest fame to its ski slopes. It offers a total of 250 kilometers, and tempts with a wealth of places for tobogganing, the number of snow parks and lifts.

Recently, you can buy Moroccan cosmetics in Polish drugstores. Maybe not like mushrooms after the rain, but new shops are appearing quickly, where it smells intensely of incense, sandalwood and ambergris, and lovers of oriental cosmetics can buy henna, hair conditioners and body lotions. Morocco itself is a beautiful country and if we have a chance, it is worth visiting. We will get acquainted not only with intoxicating smells, but also tastes that cannot be found anywhere else. For where can we drink mint tea with wormwood or eat a dish saturated with spices such as saffron, turmeric or anise seeds? Not to mention the generous use of the aromas of pickled lemons.

Most often, the most interesting and attractive tourist cities in a given country are its heart - the capital. It is different in Morocco, although it cannot be denied that Rabat, which serves as the capital, is also beautiful and worth seeing. However, there is a city that is bigger and, for many people, much more interesting, and that is the famous Casablanca. Everyone knows its name, even if they don't know exactly what country it is located in or why it is really famous. Over 70 years ago, Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman , icons of cinema and heroes of melodrama that are now considered cult, walked its streets. Whether a work created in the golden age of Hollywood is really so brilliant - everyone can judge for themselves. Nevertheless, the city that provided the background for the film's love story is beautiful and worth visiting, even though it has changed beyond recognition since the filming of "Casablanca".

There are several dozen ski resorts in France, among which Galibier-Thabor shines like a pearl, a station located on the border of the Southern and Northern Alps. It owes its name to two three-thousanders towering over picturesque towns - Valloire and Valmeinier. Together they form a large ski area loved by families with children, but not only. Magnificent landscapes and excellent skiing conditions (the routes extend at an altitude of 1430-2600 m above sea level) attract thousands of people from different countries each year.
