New regulations enter into force in November. Poland will soon start implementing an automatic information exchange system with other EU countries about cars whose drivers have been involved in road crimes or offenses. This is the result of the entry into force of the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on facilitating the cross-border exchange of information on road safety related traffic offenses. Now also our compatriots abroad do not go unpunished, but it is known that it can be different. We know from autopsy that photos from, for example, German speed cameras do not always arrive. So far, the driver data exchange system works quite poorly. Each country can apply for help to find the whereabouts of a person who has an unpaid fine, but in practice it does not work.

The only requirement that the former must meet is a payment of 35 euros per year . Thanks to this, they receive an ID card, a special identification sticker for a motorhome and a catalog with a list of farms where they can stay. The latter, in turn, gain advertising and more customers for their products. Both motorhome owners and local producers enjoy this collaboration with great pleasure.

The manufacturer, Adria Mobil, doo , informs that as a result of a construction disaster a few months ago, many stored new camping vehicles were destroyed. Most of them were damaged to such an extent that they had to be scrapped. However, contrary to the arrangements with the manufacturer, these damaged, repossessed vehicles were offered for sale at a very low price (starting at several thousand euros). We are aware that such offers must look promising, but we would like to warn you against purchasing such vehicles.

When it comes to campsites in Poland, some of them offer professional nursing care during the summer season. On their premises you can find a hardened sports ground, a place for preparing a barbecue or bonfire, some camps also have bars with billiards, swimming pools and other attractions.

Thanks to having their own motorhome, travel enthusiasts gain great independence. They decide where they will spend the night on a given day, which route they will go, and time is not something they have to follow. Traveling with a motorhome is practically not limited by any border - neither land nor sea. The latter can be easily overcome today thanks to ferries. However, not everyone knows about it, and some of those who do think ferry fees are too much of an expense. In addition, there is a requirement to meet all standards that allow the vehicle to be transported through water. Some are discouraged by this, and wrongly so. By resigning from ferries , they deprive themselves of the possibility of reaching interesting places much faster than by land (sometimes leading around a longer route) and much cheaper. After calculating the costs, it is often possible to come to the conclusion that this transport option allows us to save both time and money. It is also the only situation when we travel while sleeping, i.e. rest before starting the actual trip.

I learned that a long column of the most beautiful, expensive, fastest, and in general the best cars taking part in the annual Gumball 3000 race will pass through Krakow, so I could not miss it. Except that the word “lightning fast”, which turned out to be there, had nothing to do with the existing reality. First things first. We were driving from the south side of the city and things started to get interesting in the vicinity of Rondo Matecznego. The closer we got to our destination, the more our tram lingered. On the way, we passed a few vehicles heading for Vienna, so our irritation grew. Finally we got off at ul. St. Lawrence and we saw the crowd, what am I saying, a street literally sealed with people. I decided that I would not give up ("What? I'm not pushing in ?!") and armed with a camera, I started to struggle through the jungle, but I missed machetes. Although no, the connection between the machete and Krakow has been badly associated lately, so maybe let's skip it.
