The largest caravanning fair in Europe is just around the corner. From August 31 to September 8, about 600 exhibitors will present themselves in over a dozen exhibition halls in Düsseldorf. Who would like to explore the inside out world of motorhomes, caravans and equipment useful both for camping and picnics, should visit our western neighbors at the turn of August and September. This year, among the exhibitors, there were, among others, Carthago Reisemobilbau, Niesmann + Bischoff, Dethleffs, Sunlight, Knaus Tabbert, Eura Mobil, Bürstner, Morelo, Karmann-Mobil, Hymer, Carado, Pössl, Adria Mobil, Chausson and Ilusion Caravaning brands. Probably almost each of these companies has prepared new, premiere models especially for the caravanning salon.

A team of eight students from Rzeszów set out to conquer Scandinavia. Their project wyprawybusem.pl is simple. They want to visit as many European countries as possible in their Volkswagen T3 caravelle. The point is not to "include" as many countries as possible, but to visit them thoroughly. They have been driving for two years - Western and Central Europe are behind them. Now, another 10,000 kilometers will come to a considerable mileage, because this time they went to Nordkapp, which is one of the northernmost points of the old continent.

New regulations enter into force in November. Poland will soon start implementing an automatic information exchange system with other EU countries about cars whose drivers have been involved in road crimes or offenses. This is the result of the entry into force of the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on facilitating the cross-border exchange of information on road safety related traffic offenses. Now also our compatriots abroad do not go unpunished, but it is known that it can be different. We know from autopsy that photos from, for example, German speed cameras do not always arrive. So far, the driver data exchange system works quite poorly. Each country can apply for help to find the whereabouts of a person who has an unpaid fine, but in practice it does not work.

As the true gourmets of us - the male part of CampRest, she absolutely wanted to share an interesting idea for a trip to the neighbors. This year, fans of small, large, light and dark foam ones will go crazy with joy. There will be many beer festivals across our southern border. In addition, the organizers provide a lot of delicious food, brewery tours, parties and of course ... tasting. The first is the Harrachov Beer Festival - July 20. In addition to regional delicacies and beer, guests can visit the local museum and glassworks as well as numerous attractions for children.

Traveling on your own is a great experience, giving great opportunities to the independent tourist. Unfortunately, there is also this "dark side of the force" - the problem of theft. The topic of robbing caravans and motorhomes has been known for a long time and must be taken into account during every trip. Before setting out to explore the area, take all precautionary measures not to find our mobile home stripped to its feet when you return. Not to mention the empty parking space where our vehicle used to stand.

How to prevent theft?

Going camping with children is a topic that has been discussed many times. But it cannot be denied that you can never have too much knowledge and you can always absorb a few more tips on the subject. When visiting Italy, apart from spending the night at campsites and special parking lots, caravanning enthusiasts can still take advantage of the possibility of an overnight stay on an Italian farm. And it's absolutely free. All you need to do is become a member of the Fattore Amico association - a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cooperation between motorhome owners and Italian agricultural producers. The only requirement that the former must meet is a payment of 35 euros per year . Thanks to this, they receive an ID card, a special identification sticker for a motorhome and a catalog with a list of farms where they can stay. The latter, in turn, gain advertising and more customers for their products. Both motorhome owners and local producers enjoy this collaboration with great pleasure.

If you were to conduct a survey after the holidays and ask a certain number of people the question "How do you care for your tent?", A large percentage of respondents would say (perhaps even with a shrug) that they do not care at all. The tent was brought back from vacation and tossed into a corner where it will be waiting for the next opportunity to leave. Festival participants can also admire folklore shows and listen to concerts of music bands. Brewing contests and games take place on the stock exchange stage, which you can take a closer look at. Viewers have a unique opportunity not only to see all these attractions, but also to taste beers from distant corners of the world.

As the general representative in Poland of the manufacturer of camping vehicles of the Slovenian brand ADRIA, we feel obliged to inform you about the recent situation on the market related to these vehicles. The manufacturer, Adria Mobil, doo , informs that as a result of a construction disaster a few months ago, many stored new camping vehicles were destroyed. Most of them were damaged to such an extent that they had to be scrapped. However, contrary to the arrangements with the manufacturer, these damaged, repossessed vehicles were offered for sale at a very low price (starting at several thousand euros). We are aware that such offers must look promising, but we would like to warn you against purchasing such vehicles.

Caravanning tourism is an increasingly popular way of getting to know the world. It can also be an ideal leisure option for people who are not completely physically fit - it is only a matter of proper organization and equipment of both the motorhome and the camping. According to the opinion of the campsite owners, adapting the area to the needs of disabled people may take even several seasons (especially with limited financial resources). However, those that have all the amenities are an investment that pays for itself very quickly. Most often they are located on flat or slightly sloping terrain. They have ramps to restaurants and bars with the appropriate width of the entrance door, while in the rooms there are low handrails and handles for people on wheelchairs . When it comes to campsites in Poland, some of them offer professional nursing care during the summer season. On their premises you can find a hardened sports ground, a place for preparing a barbecue or bonfire, some camps also have bars with billiards, swimming pools and other attractions.

Disabled people camping

Thanks to having their own motorhome, travel enthusiasts gain great independence. They decide where they will spend the night on a given day, which route they will go, and time is not something they have to follow. Traveling with a motorhome is practically not limited by any border - neither land nor sea. The latter can be easily overcome today thanks to ferries. However, not everyone knows about it, and some of those who do think ferry fees are too much of an expense. In addition, there is a requirement to meet all standards that allow the vehicle to be transported through water. Some are discouraged by this, and wrongly so. By resigning from ferries , they deprive themselves of the possibility of reaching interesting places much faster than by land (sometimes leading around a longer route) and much cheaper. After calculating the costs, it is often possible to come to the conclusion that this transport option allows us to save both time and money. It is also the only situation when we travel while sleeping, i.e. rest before starting the actual trip.
