The largest caravanning fair in Europe, the one in Dusseldorf, starts in just a few days. Meanwhile, the organizers of the October Caravans Salon Poland are working intensively to make Poznań the largest Caravanning and Tourism Festival in our country. The organizers inform about the growing number of confirmed exhibitors and large format visitors to the Vanlife / Retro zone. The Rally Przystanek_targi is also very popular and is already record-breaking in terms of attendance. Moreover, on the first day of the fair, on October 21, an important industry conference, Polish Campers &amp; Caravans Conference, will take place. In just over a week, the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf will open its doors. Every year it is a long-awaited event for the entire caravanning market. What awaits us this time? After a long absence, the Erwin Hymer Group returns to the showrooms, bringing together many recognized and important brands. Other absent companies also decided to attend and show their offers. And so, from 590 exhibitors last year, the number of exhibitors increased to a phenomenal 700 brands. The exhibition will be located in a total of 16 exhibition halls and in the open area around them.

The Caravaning Summer Show, which ended last weekend, attracted over a dozen companies distributing vehicles, accessories and rental specialists. For the industry, this event is not so much a meeting place for industry &quot;stagers&quot; eager for news, but rather an opportunity for backstage talks and analysis of the market situation. This year, the main topics were the condition of the industry, galloping prices of base vehicles and components, and declining demand. The industry is still doing well, but the streak is clearly slowing down. Balcamp, for example, showed their latest vehicles, two versions of bodies on the short and long Renault Trafic were shown by the Tri-City dealer Zdunek (the car manufacturer is Wavecamper from Greater Poland). The stand of the Krakow ELCAMP was interesting - taking over the distribution of the DOREMA brand was emphasized by the display of inflatable vestibules and tents. The manufacturer&#39;s offer includes instantly set up models for motorhomes, caravans and buses. We will definitely come back to this topic, because these are fantastic, light and durable structures. As many as 2 manufacturers showed the latest superstructures for pick-up cars (AZAR and Tischner). The portfolio of suppliers was completed by an exhibition of several recently very popular LARK mobile homes, as well as Saxdor motor boats with an interesting sleeping cabin solution (lifted sundeck on the bow). Traditionally, representatives of the Silesian Panda Camp tents, campers and caravans rental could not be absent - their roof tents will accommodate the whole family or a group of friends.

In the first two quarters of 2022, we recorded a decrease in the number of first registrations, both for new and used caravans and motorhomes in Poland.

At the end of June, we completed the first stage of exhibitor applications for the Caravans Salon Poland 2022 fair. It is already known today that visitors will see at least a hundred brands from over 40 exhibitors, and this is only the first stage of applications! Such a result more than 3 months before the event is impressive because many exhibitors usually decide to register a few weeks before the fair.

We often hear voices that the caravanning boom across Europe, i.e. the avalanche increase in the number of recreational vehicles, is a huge challenge for caravanning infrastructure and service points. However, those who think that new places of this type are not being created are wrong! As Camprest, during trade fairs, we always spend long hours talking with new investors planning to open campsites or camper parks and we are glad that there are more and more investments. We are all the more pleased when a Polish company - a leader in the construction of infrastructure for motorhomes - adds an important contribution to these projects. We have been following the activities of CAMPER SYSTEM from the very beginning of its existence and we are glad that thanks to them on the map of travel-friendly points, more are being added.
