Cavemen of La Roque-Gageac
One of the most beautiful villages of France is the tiny La Roque-Gageac, nestled between the cliff and the Dordogne river. The Pearl of Aquitaine is also an ideal base for other attractions of the region. La Roque-Gageac is a charming French village situated on the river Dordogne, in the department of the same name. Despite its modest size, tourists can find quite a lot of attractions there, including the 15th-century Tarde Castle, the ruins of the Sarlat Bishops' Castle, and finally the caves where cavemen lived in the distant past. The village also attracts with its beauty - it is on the list of "The Most Beautiful Villages of France".
