In ancient times, the island of Rab was popular with the Romans who built summer residences on it. Nowadays Croatian beauty does not complain about the lack of interest of tourists, especially families with children. According to various sources, the sun's rays illuminate Rab for almost 2,500 hours a year, so you can be sure of a wonderful aura during your vacation. The island is located in Croatia, in the Kvarner Bay. It is well connected with the mainland thanks to frequent ferries and catamarans. Ferries depart from Stinica (the village in front of Jablanac) and go to Mišnjak . The second option is to take the ferry between Rab and Krk (Valbiska - Lopar). The journey to Mišnjak takes place every 1-2 hours and takes about a quarter of an hour, while the second ferry leaves twice a day, reaching the destination in 1.5 hours.

It is enough to mention the accompanying costs . Even a few days' rental of a motorhome will cost you a considerable amount of money. The purchase of used or new equipment is even more expensive - and this is just the beginning of the investment. Faced with the high service and maintenance costs that are required to keep a motorhome in good condition, many people are looking for savings . The problem, however, is the way we try to save. We very often decide to buy cheap spare parts of unknown origin and low quality . Equally miserable, even unfavorable results will be obtained if you delay in carrying out maintenance repairs or replacing worn components. Another serious sin for camper owners is carelessness . Instead of systematically taking care of the cleanliness and hygiene of the interior , as well as all systems that require it, they limit themselves to only superficial cleaning . Of course, buying high-quality chemicals intended for this purpose means a large expense - which is better to avoid.

This does not mean, however, that the proposals that have been known for years go by the wayside. The Czech Jicin (Jičín) is a proposition worth considering when planning such a trip. It meets the criteria of a city with a wide range of cultural events and a center in a beautiful location. When the family has more people than the parents and two children, trips can be problematic. How to organize such a vacation? Where to store your luggage? How to watch over three or four children? Wait a minute ... What if you decide to have a trailer with six berths?. Most popular caravans provide four sleeping places. There are also many options for couples without children - two sleeping places in the caravan allow you to relax without giving up free space. However, no matter how we advertise the advantages of caravans with a small number of beds, we will not convince families with children. A family of five or six is able to forgo many amenities in exchange for additional sleeping places .

Every year at the end of July, a unique procession takes place in Liguria. The divers taking part in it lay a wreath at the monument standing on the seabed. In it, they sanctify the patron saint of sailors and divers - Christ of the Abyss. The statues of Christ stand in several places around the world, being a symbol of the city that created them. They look at the area from the tops of the hills, and also ... from under the water surface. One of them rests on the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea, between Camogli and Portofino, about 30 km east of Genoa. It is called Il Cristo degli Abissi (Christ of the Abyss). It is a 2.5-meter bronze sculpture by Guido Galletti, depicting the Savior with his arms raised.

The British brand Lunar has been involved in caravanning for over 45 years. The company started with the production of caravans, but in our opinion today it is much more distinguished on the market by interesting models of motorhomes . Lunar can surprise, which he proved a few years ago by launching a motorhome based on the Nissan NV200 Combi (we wrote about it here: Lunar Vacanza - for holidays and shopping ). This is one of the few, if not the only example in the world, of using this model in caravanning on a large scale.

The largest amusement park in Spain is located just off Salou, a resort loved by water sports enthusiasts and families with children. The resort full of attractions has for years attracted tourists to the Costa Dorada - not only the British, encouraged by the proximity of the airport. A dozen or so kilometers from Tarragona and several dozen from Barcelona is Salou, by many called the tourist capital of the Gold Coast. It does not seem exaggerated to call it the pearl of the Costa Dorada, especially when you look at the number of shops and shops, restaurants and hotels that thrive in the resort. When we add to this the pride of the town - the beautiful Playa de Llevant, approx. 1200 meters long and approx. 70 meters wide - multimedia fountains where crowds stand with open mouths and great conditions for sports (not only water sports), we will understand why Salou is so crowded.
