The British jurors awarded the Bailey Approach Autograph 765 as "Family Motorhome of the Year". This is another of the appreciated cars, which is a semi-integrated motorhome. On Friday, April 25, Grzegorz Sroka and Artur Samborski left Wawel for an extraordinary journey - around Poland in 10 days. And it would not be a great feat if it were not for the fact that they want to do it while driving the Syrena 105 towing a trailer from Niewiadow. The 105L Syrena comes from 1976. The Polish caravan from Niewiadów attached to it is younger. Comparing it with the age of the Syrena, it was produced quite recently, in ... 1986. Two automotive enthusiasts decided to prove that such a set can drive 3,000. km in 1.5 weeks. They set off on tour early in the morning on April 25, and planned their return to Krakow on May 4.

Hospitable guesthouse owners, beautiful views, sun and beach - in other words, the charms of southern Dalmatia. All this can be found on the picturesque island of Korcula. The May weekend is getting closer and it's high time to decide where to spend it this year. Maybe with friends for a barbecue, or maybe with family on a short trip abroad? If we are more inclined to the second option, one of the ideas worth considering is a trip to Croatia, to the island of Korcula (Korčula). Keanu Reeves fans will surely remember the 1995 movie "Walk in the Clouds" . The romantic production was filmed in Californian vineyards, where mist spread over them in the morning, wrapping them in a milky duvet (hence the title). But you don't have to go all the way to Pasadena to be able to walk in the clouds - literally and figuratively. On the European continent, and more specifically in Croatia, we find mountain passes stretching above the cloud line. Driving them provides an amazing experience, and the farther, the more beautiful. When you go down the serpentines meandering around the mountains and in the mountains themselves, there is a vastness of azure water interspersed with small, charming islands in front of your eyes.

May weekend on the island of Korcula

The Automobilklub Mysłowicki Association invites all lovers of camping and caravanning tourism to participate in a unique event - in the National May Day Caravanning Rally "JAWORKI". The honorary patronage over the event was taken by the Starost of the Chrzanów Poviat - Adam Potocki and the Mayor of the City of Chrzanów - Ryszard Kosowski. From 16 to 18 May 2014, crews from all over the country will visit the Basen-Kąty recreation center in Chrzanów . It will be a great opportunity not only to learn more about the history and monuments of the Lesser Poland region (including a trip to the Będkowska Valley) but, above all, to find time for the May barbecue and rest with friends.

Although motorhomes of various price classes and ranges were assessed, the title of the best Camping Car of the Year 2014 was won by the relatively small, semi-integrated Rapido 640 model. Ordinary cars have their plebiscites - e.g. Car of The Year, and unusual cars, e.g. campers, theirs. Two British magazines - "Motorcaravan Motorhome Monthly" (MMM) and "Which Motorhome?" have joined forces to jointly announce the winners of the Motorhome of the Year Awards 2014. Four vehicles were nominated in each of the nine categories, which were then assessed by the jurors. Here are the final results of the vote.

Walks over the precipice, Hanging Houses and Gothic temples are among the many attractions that await tourists in the Spanish town of Cuenca. Here we find peace and adrenaline, nature and history. Spain has much more to offer than beaches and siesta. Tourists who prefer long walks (not necessarily a boardwalk as smooth as a table) will sooner or later find their way to the central part of the country, to the Castilla-La Mancha region. Here, on the Jucar River, the small town of Cuenca is located. As it is located quite far from the main roads, you can rest there in silence.

The Frankia I 840 motorhome in the Platinum Edition version was recognized by the British magazine "Motorhome Monthly Magazine" as the best luxury motorhome of 2014. What did it deserve such a name?. Frankia I 840, like other motorhomes of this brand, has many features that make it stand out from the mass of motorhomes. First of all, it has an integrated body, completely unlike the Fiat Ducato and Mercedes Sprinter , although these cars are the basis for a motorhome. In the case of the platinum edition, a Mercedes with a 190 HP engine combined with a 7-speed automatic transmission was used. But it was not the body or the engine that made it the Luxury Motorhome of The Year award. Probably the most important argument for the jurors was the fact that the Frankia Platinum Edition is a car that can do without the traditionally understood 230 V mains! Solar panels take care of electricity on board almost entirely!.

Holidays in the Cretan resort of Rethymno involve long walks along the seaside promenade, admiring the panorama of the city from the Venetian fortress and palaces with decorated portals. The largest Greek island, Crete, is home to several beautiful cities that attract thousands of tourists each year seeking sun and relaxing on loose sand. The landscape is made up of wide beaches and rocky shores, and the coastline is an impressive 1,040 km. One of the must-see towns on the island is Rethymno (Rethymnon), a tourist resort with a 13 km long beach stretching almost from the center. It is situated on the north coast, halfway between Heraklion and Chania. He settled on a small cape, hugging from the south side to the low mountains.

Tabbert celebrates his 60th birthday this year. This is a good excuse to launch a new model on the market. The name of the new trailer is PEAT and stands for "Alfred Tabbert's Private Edition". In this way, the brand decided to honor the memory of its founder. Since this trailer is named after the first vehicle designer of the Tabbert brand, we should not be surprised that the appearance of PEAT is more classic than that of other models. The fact that we are dealing with this particular brand is proven by details that are difficult to miss - for example, the characteristic rear lights with a coat of arms placed between them, which also serves as a logo. On the other side of the trailer there is a spacious storage compartment for two gas cylinders.

Campers and caravans are just a part of the offer for those for whom long trips are the meaning of life or its very important element. Not only the Caravanning Salon was full of attractions. We also visited other stands available as part of the Motor Show 2014 to find vehicles that can be useful during active recreation. Volkswagen unveiled the T5 California Beach model once again. Probably because this car always arouses great interest of visitors. The model shown this year not only had a fold-up fabric roof under which you can arrange an overnight stay, but also a four-bike carrier mounted on the tailgate. The model on display is equipped with a 2.0-liter BiTDI engine producing 180 hp, mated to a 7-speed gearbox.
