In an era where mobility is one of the most appreciated values, caravans are still needed, although the vision of what they should look like is changing. Designers from the Austrian studio Nonstandard created the concept of the Mehrzeller trailer. In their opinion, it corresponds to the spirit of the times and reflects contemporary trends in both lifestyle and architecture.

"End of the tongue for a guide" is an old saying that is still relevant today. Sometimes a request for help results in the interest of a person who does not want to help us at all. Then what?. A holiday trip abroad gives us the opportunity not only to rest and gild our skin with the rays of the sun that warms more than in Poland, but also to buy various kinds of souvenirs. We often want to buy something valuable very cheaply, which is fully understandable - just like the fact that the seller wants to earn as much as possible on the transaction. If we lack knowledge and assertiveness, we will most likely realize that we have just overpaid for a counterfeit, service or item that we did not intend to buy.

Naive like a tourist, or how not to be deceived abroad

Where in Europe can we find a region where you can drink fine wine in one of the most charming ski resorts? At the Italian glacier Marmolada, where Arabba invites you to its slopes. Veneto is the region of Italy with the most beautiful and popular cities. It is enough to mention the romantic Verona or Venice, famous for its kilometers winding canals and gondolas gliding through them. There are also several popular ski resorts in the area, including the glacier-linked Marmolada Cortina d'Ampezzo, Civetta and Arabba . The last resort attracts mainly advanced skiers, although on its slopes you will find easier descents, ideal for learning for adults and children.

Do you think you know how road checks should be carried out? Not all of its principles are obvious. For example, not everyone knows that when giving orders, a policeman can use ... a whistle. After stopping the vehicle for inspection, the policeman must approach the controlled car, and the driver should wait with his hands on the steering wheel and not turn off the engine until then. Almost everyone knows it. However, not all rules are equally known. The very call to stop can be different. The driver may be called to stop, e.g. by a megaphone from a police helicopter! And while performing his duties on the road, the policeman has the right to strengthen his orders with a whistle. Remember, however, that a whistle cannot be the only form of giving any command - an officer may whistle while showing with his hand or with a signal dial ("lollipop") what the driver should do.

The Swedish company Kabe has been producing camping vehicles since 1960. Over 50 years of experience in the production of equipment that must also cope with harsh winter conditions, allows us to believe that the latest motorhomes of this brand will also cope with weather challenges. It all started with one man's passion. In 1958, Kurt Blomqvist had an idea to build a caravan for his family. The idea turned out to be a bull's eye, not only because the camping trips turned out to be very successful. Kurt's trailer caused such a sensation that this full-time SAAB employee quickly received an order to produce more trailers, this time for sale. The business was going so well that Blomqvist quit his job after a while and focused entirely on growing the company. Kabe has many patents to his credit - it was this company that developed the underfloor heating system and constructed air ducts in the walls.

Designing concept vehicles can seem like an unnecessary waste of time. But it is bold visions that pave the way for the future. So who knows, whether in a dozen or so years, a camping car will look like a Colim - a child of the imagination of a German designer. There is one basic problem with motorhomes. They are large, so it is difficult to drive them into, for example, narrow and winding streets of tourist cities. If you travel by such a car, you will very often have to leave the car in the parking lot in front of your destination, and start your sightseeing using public transport, taxis, or by taking a long walk. But even if you want to spend your vacation car at a campground, sometimes you will have to go to the city, for example for food or cleaning products.

Located in the charming valley of Hallingdal, Geilo will appeal primarily to families with children, although enthusiasts of exhausting downhill slopes will not be disappointed. It's really worth coming here. Norway is famous for the beauty of its fjords and the taste of delicious salmon. When it comes to ski resorts, they are not known enough to tempt tourists as much as Austrian or Swiss resorts. However, this does not mean that they can be accused of anything. On the contrary - they are very well equipped, have modern lifts, and the raw beauty of the Norwegian peaks, at whose feet they lie, gives them an amazing climate. This is what Geilo is like, maybe not the largest, but certainly the most popular ski resort in Norway.

This caravan is for Polish camping enthusiasts what the Polish Fiat 126p has become for Polish drivers. The N-126 is still the most popular caravan in Poland, although nowadays we buy kebabs more often than we spend the nights. Recently, Niewiadów has been going through decidedly lean years. The only caravan manufacturer in Poland was bankrupt for a long time, and finally the company was sold by tender. The new owner - the Boro company from Tomaszów Mazowiecki - bought the plants for PLN 8.3 million. In September 2013, a new limited liability company was established - Zakład Produkcji Sieci "Niewiadów". Whether caravans will matter for the new owner will soon become clear. So far, the Boro company has been producing tow trucks and cargo trailers.

N-126 - the most important caravan in Poland

If we are looking for a resort where we can ski, admire the raw beauty of nature and relax on the lake shore, we will find the perfect place in the High Tatras . True nature lovers come to ski to the place where the lake is the biggest attraction. It is beautiful here not only in winter - also on hot summer days, we will meet many hikers on the trails, wandering slowly to meet the mountain flora and fauna. We are talking about the highest situated village in the High Tatras, that is Strbske Pleso . It is located on the southern shore of a post-glacial water reservoir called Strbske Pleso, and tourists who come here admire the picturesque panorama of the Low Tatras and the Poprad and Liptov Basin. The resort is not only a famous Slovak winter sports center, but also has the status of a climatic spa. The ice covering the lake's surface in winter is so transparent that it was reportedly transported as far as Budapest and Berlin in the past.
