Recently, at one of the Adria trade partners we visited, we had the opportunity to see the new Adora 573 PT model and it made a great impression on us. Today we are taking a closer look at the bigger sister of this model, the 673PK. Its total length is an impressive 876 cm, with the buildings being 740 cm long and 246 cm wide (at 261 cm high). Within the Adora series of caravans, we can find many models for different needs, but with many common features. The rear looks phenomenal - the tasteful design and modern line at the rear together with attractive road lights make a big impression. The completely redesigned front end and aerodynamic deflectors at the front work well with the central, huge panoramic window . There is also a very comfortable, wide entrance door with an integrated litter bin.

Adria Adora 673PK - a trailer for a large family

For some time now, among enthusiasts of mobile recreation, as well as manufacturers of camping equipment, there has been a lot of talk about the changes being processed by the Sejm and the Senate, setting the excise tax rate at 18.6% . After the Sejm passed the act amending the excise duty act, it was submitted to the Senate, which introduced 25 amendments to it. In shape after the changes, today it was again dealt with in the Sejm, and a real storm broke out around the vote. Result? Ultimately, by the votes of the MPs from the United Right itself (first PiS itself, and then Solidarna Polska / Alliance) , PiS lost in the votes.

The act on excise duty on motorhomes postponed by one year

People starting their adventure with a camper or caravan can sometimes find it difficult to find their way in the maze of gas-powered heating devices and accessories. In this article, we would like to systematize knowledge in this area and draw attention to possible methods of heating, but also storing and refueling gas. The most popular gas tank used in broadly understood caravanning is a replaceable 11 kg cylinder. The downside is that it is made of steel and is heavy. Due to their weight and dimensions , NANO cylinders have also become popular, available at numerous chain gas stations and some DIY stores (equipped with a dedicated filling connector), and recently also GAS BANK cylinders. Although the latter solution is associated with a high purchase cost, the wide range of refueling nozzles available makes it easier to fill in most European countries. We also have the option of connecting a gas level sensor . The cylinders are light, handy and safe - link.

Gas on the go - an overview of applications and devices

Recently, the light has seen an innovative off-road, compact and multi-purpose motorhome from the Wavecamper stable. We were able to visit its creators and take a closer look at it. Wavecamper 4x4 is an unusual project. Can you tell us more about the backstage of its creation and the drive?. This is the first Wavecamper 4x4 ever built. It is a motorhome for special tasks, which extends the exploration possibilities for the user. You can boldly enter the wilderness and stay away from people and camps . It is perfect for people who value close contact with nature and greater peace. The use of Seikel - Monroe Maxi HD suspension raises the vehicle by approx. 3 inches (7 cm - measured value).

Load capacity without compromise, that is ... a bus as a motorhome

In a series of articles presenting the design assumptions of individual motorhomes, the time has come for integrated vehicles . Popular "integrateds" are vehicles in which we do not find a separate cab of the base car, and the cockpit is somewhat "absorbed" by the bodywork. As a result, the vehicles have the same width along their entire length, and the enormous windshield catches the eye, at first glance justifiably associated with a bus. In this material, we would like to introduce you to the profiles of two cars representing the flagship models of two brands from one producer group - these will be the Frankia Platin i7900 Plus and the French Pilote G781FGJ produced in Germany. Despite their similar dimensions, these are cars with a completely different style, purpose and design solutions.

How to build a motorhome?

The Morelo brand has already got us used to spectacular solutions and remarkable design. Most of us associate the brand with luxurious giants on wheels. The Grand Empire 110 GSO , presented at the last trade fair in Düsseldorf, leaves most of the competing designs that we have seen in Europe in the shadow. The base vehicle is a Mercedes Benz Actros with an engine capacity of 12.7 liters and an impressive 531 horsepower (torque is up to 2400 Nm). In terms of comfort and technological solutions, the Morelo brand once again redefines the standards in this segment. We will not find here, for example, side mirrors that have been replaced by the MirrorCam monitor system.

Morelo Grand Empire 110 GSO - new products from the Premium manufacture

The segment of semi- integrated motorhomes is an important market for the Adria brand - both in terms of quantity and value. This is evidenced by the wide range of models and systems. The Slovenian manufacturer flawlessly recognizes the needs of the market and users. In each new model, we find changes and innovations that keep pace with the times. The Supreme 670 SL deserves special attention in the Matrix series. We had the opportunity to test a car with the same designation in 2018. Since then, however, the model has undergone many changes. Although the revolution is not visible from the front (the base is the proven Fiat Ducato ), the rear looks beautiful with modern LED lights, whose modern design at first glance refers to the latest trailers from the cult Astella series. The color scheme (so-called silver alu metallic) also stands out from most motorhomes. The vehicle is 290 cm high, 7485 mm long and has a total width of 2.3 m.

Adria Matrix 670SL - new version

In the era of more and more stringent exhaust emission standards and more and more common hybrid and purely electric drives, caravanning enthusiasts will face more and more challenges. Family cars and even popular SUVs receive standard-imposed units with cylinder capacities not exceeding 1.5 liters, often with insufficient power to tow caravans. Connecting additional ballast to a strictly electric vehicle in the form of a traditional trailer will dramatically reduce their range and may require multiple charging, even on short distances. This dilemma was taken to heart by the creators of the innovative trailer - Polydrops P17A , which (at least for now) is intended to relieve the electric tug and provide users with electric autonomy at a standstill.
