Recently, I had the opportunity to drive and live for a few days in the latest campervan produced in Poland, built on a Renault Trafic. Small motorhomes, which are created on vans, have a huge advantage over large motorhomes, because we can easily use them on a daily basis. Such a vehicle will easily enter most underground garages, the height of which is not less than 2 m. Such a car can easily be parked in the city center, and at the same time it can carry larger things or can accommodate up to 6 passengers.

The motorhome industry is coping quite well with the current restrictions related to the pandemic and looks to the future with hope. Rapido has just announced three new C series models, which it intends to introduce in 2021. These cars will be available for viewing by a wider audience at the Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf, which officially begins on September 5. As part of the C series, Rapido introduced 3 new models: C55, C56 and C86. All models built on the Fiat chassis are 2.17 meters wide and have a slightly curved panoramic sunroof with a UV coating, which gives a sense of space and makes the house on wheels more spacious. In addition, an electric roller shutter and heating are included. The height of the cars is 2.75, and there will be 3 lengths to choose from: from 5.99 m to 6.99 m, so everyone will find something for themselves.

Motorhomes are mobile "houses on wheels" but in a "mini" version. This statement applies to most of them, but not to the Challenger brand. It is she who offers semi-integrated motorhomes with an extraordinary living room in the XXL version. I recently had the opportunity to live for a while in a Hobby caravan, which I received for testing from a dealer of this brand, i.e. CarGO Pomorze. I may surprise you, but it was my first trip with a "larger" trailer for many years, because I usually travel with campers or my private set, i.e. VW Transporter T6 with a light trailer (750 kg GVW) TearDrop type. We had the opportunity to get acquainted with Franki during the test of the PLATIN 7900GD model, in which we spent the holidays at the beautiful Caravan Park Sexten campsite. It was then that we found out that it is a motorhome with quality comparable to a 5-star hotel. Regardless of the weight limit (the model we tested had a DMC of 5.5 tons), we could enjoy the highest quality of furniture and very rich additional equipment. It is a real "liner", a luxury apartment on wheels.

Imagine a camper whose basic equipment allows you to simply get in, start the engine and set off on a multi-month journey. Without the need to equip it with any additional devices. Imagine a luxurious camper commonly called a "Liner", but still in a compact size, not resembling a huge cruise bus. This is the PLATIN model produced in the German FRANKIA factory. I had the opportunity to test this camper for 3 weeks with my family at the turn of 2019/2020. We drove this camper about 2,500 km on highways and very winding and steep mountain passes, we traveled around large cities and villages, and we spent wonderful Christmas and New Year's Eve in this camper.
