Camper manufacturers are trying to outdo each other in revealing their novelties before the summer holidays. Among the proposals of the German brand Hobby, the small Vantana model deserves special attention. The 2015 season may be one of the most important for the caravanning market for many years. The reason is the new generation of Fiat Ducato , which is just entering the market. And as you know, the Ducato is the base for most motorhomes. Motorhome manufacturers will probably want to take advantage of this moment to also mount modernized bodies on the chassis of the modernized car.

A camper powered by natural gas? This may be a very good solution, although there are still few stations in Poland where you can refuel with CNG. However, there is a way to do this too. Cars powered by CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) are currently quite unpopular in Poland. However, there are brands that try to promote this way of powering the car, including: Fiat with a Ducato model equipped with the appropriate installation. And yet Ducato is also a basic base for campers!. In Germany, the combination of Ducato + camper + CNG has been successfully used for several years. Eura Mobil has developed the Profila RS semi-integrated motorhome, which is a development of the Profila Alcove and Profila T series. In the case of the traditional model with an alcove, there is an additional recess above the seats of the driver and passenger, which, to put it mildly, does not add charm to the entire vehicle. Profila T has a suspended bed, which, however, takes up a lot of space inside. Against this background, the Profila RS model seems revolutionary. Instead of an unsightly alcove, we have a large window that looks nice from the outside and lets in a lot of light. The only thing missing from happiness is that it should be opened.

Neat, agile, light - perfect for a holiday with no obligations. These are the Slovak trailers offered under the Mini-caravans brand. They only offer the essentials, but if you don't need to take your entire home with you, it might be a good idea for you. The Slovak company offers 6 basic models. They do not differ significantly from each other. All of them are small trailers that primarily provide accommodation. If you want a real house on wheels, this proposal is not for you. However, if you mainly want to have a place to sleep during a holiday trip, you may be pleasantly surprised.

It turns out that the trailer can also be given a military look, which will probably appeal not only to partisans, but also, for example, anglers and hunters. According to the adopted assumptions, Evovip is to be distinguished by advanced technology and high-class design. Admittedly, the latter goal was achieved, especially in relation to the front part of the body. The modern, slightly pugnacious look will surely appeal to those customers who like to stand out from the crowd.

Until recently, living in a car or trailer seemed above all a great way to explore the world. Currently, however, there are ideas linking the house on wheels with completely different ideas ... Two friends from Even Yehuda in Israel came up with the idea of solving the housing problem in their country. Tali Szaul - psychotherapist and Hagit Morevski - dealing with, inter alia, water treatment, they decided to adapt an old bus for a house. The idea struck them so interesting that within a few days of the first conversation on this subject, they ended up in a junkyard, where they bought an old city bus. The vehicle was hardly drivable, but that's not the point. The idea of women was to use dozens, hundreds or even thousands of used vehicles in a practical way, transforming them into quite comfortable and cheap places to live. Their initiative was to draw attention to this idea.

Older vehicles powered by carburetors were equipped with mechanical diaphragm pumps, which, unfortunately, fail quite often. The most common problem is a leaky diaphragm and worn valves. Fortunately, there is no problem with purchasing such a pump and replacing it. Can it be easier to unfold and fold the tents? Heimplanet proves that it is. The tent can be set up in just a few minutes! In addition, such a temporary home does not have to look boring. The biggest problem with traditional tents is that they have to be folded up and down, which often takes a lot of time for untrained people. As a result, the desired trip begins with an experience that will surely not remain a pleasant holiday memory. However, life can be easier, as evidenced by an interesting solution proposed by the German company Heimplanet. Recently, it presented a tent dedicated to a specific car model - Audi A3 Quattro .

Architecture student at the University of Minnesota, Hank Butitta, did not want to design something that would never be realized. Instead of creating virtual concepts, he turned an old bus into a mobile apartment. He wanted to experience the impact of his work on life, to test the invented solutions in everyday practice. This is also how he approached the subject of his diploma thesis. He and his brother and friends decided to turn a ramshackle school bus into a house on wheels - the kind we've seen in American movies.

The Americans decided to take a lesson from Europeans for whom a modern motorhome is almost always based on the Fiat Ducato. I wonder if the US will adopt a "baby" based on a car that is called Ram ProMaster overseas. We do not know how much this car is likely to become popular in America. Winnebago Trend - because this is what a motorhome is called - is a good example of how different thinking about motorhomes in Europe and the United States is. The differences can be seen from the outside - for example, in European motorhomes we will not find split, sliding side windows , and the bodies usually have less various embossments.
