For several years, SUVs have been one of the most popular segments (not only on the European market). In the class of universal vehicles, the Japanese are important players from the very beginning, serving functional, refined and durable structures. Virtually all of them will successfully replace the mid-range estate cars, often surpassing them in many categories. In addition to the beloved by Toyota RAV4 drivers, the Honda CRV is very popular - which especially in its latest incarnation attracts customers.

This was supposed to be the perfect title of my account of a one-day trip to Wrocław. 102 zlotys - this is the amount that would be the cost of return tickets for 2 people if we had only booked them a week earlier. But we hesitated too long and we had to pay PLN 114. A slight difference, but if you insist, the title doesn't fit anymore. But why insist?

Who does not associate Pisa with the Leaning Tower in the first place? For many, the first thought is the belfry standing on the Field of Miracles, but it is not the city's only asset. It may not be able to compete with Florence or Livorno, but it is sometimes underestimated, and wrongly. Pisa is an Italian city on the Arno River in Tuscany. Its heart is the Campo dei Miracoli (Field of Miracles), to which - to paraphrase a well-known proverb - all roads in Pisa lead. It is home to the Duomo Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Torre Pendente (Leaning Tower). There are never a shortage of tourists taking a picture of themselves in a pose supporting the marble structure. Its characteristic tilt is due to the collapse of the belfry in the sandy ground.

For several years, a real revolution has been taking place on the automotive market, the place of the classic segments is quickly taken over by niche structures - meeting many different expectations. Among the popular Japanese, Korean and German SUVs on the Polish market, their budget alternative has been boldly making for several years. Renault is to blame for everything. The French a few years ago decided to make a little-known, communist brand - Dacia - a serious player. After the success of the first few models, production of the affordable SUV began in 2010 . The neat body was drawn in a very thoughtful way, the effect of the designers' work is liked by virtually everyone. By paying a few hundred zlotys, we can diversify the appearance of the Romanian car with solid sills made of steel pipes , as well as a tubular cover for the front bumper (it is an excellent basis for accessory lighting). When passing through the Netherlands on the A20 motorway, let's slow down for a moment (preferably the longer one) halfway between Gouda and Rotterdam. The lowest point of the country is located here, and the entire region delights with the beauty of polders. If you consider that "to get down" means "to get depressed," it will be both a metaphorical and a literal explanation. Depression is the area below sea level, which is somewhat below sea level. In a Dutch town we can find both this depressive pit and the desired one - by golf enthusiasts.

Automatic transmissions have been offered for years in practically every segment, and show their advantages especially during typical city driving, as well as when towing heavy trailers . The users of cars with traditional transmissions know perfectly well the troublesome starting with a heavy load ( it is easy to burn the clutch ) and many other difficulties that we will not experience with the automatic transmission. Using a car with an automatic gearbox is very simple - just press the brake pedal when stationary, move the selector lever to the "D" position , then press the gas and move freely. after all, the transmission controller - in the standard setting , it ensures the lowest possible fuel consumption , switching to the highest gear as quickly as possible.

There are many natural wonders in New Zealand. One of them is Rangitoto Island, pure volcanic lava where Christmas trees grow and many birds live. It was bought from the Maori for £ 15. Rangitoto is an island that was reborn about 600 years ago after experiencing a huge volcanic eruption. The vegetation that now extensively covers its surface grew slowly over the raw volcanic lava flows. The island is a huge local attraction, drawing tourists to New Zealand's Auckland - and beyond. A ferry runs twice a day, thanks to which those willing can see this extraordinary creation of nature up close, protruding over the sea level for more than 260 meters. It is located 10 km from the center of Auckland and the journey takes approximately 40 minutes.

Older caravanning enthusiasts perfectly remember the realities of that time. For towing a caravan, the good-natured Fiat 125p, Polonez and even the sickly Maluch were enough. Today, drivers focus on versatile SUVs that combine the advantages of several different segments . Among the most interesting and popular market offers we can mention the Mazda CX5 . The Japanese SUV hit the market by storm, attracting customers with its innovative design and loudly advertised innovative technology . For many years, Mazda has been famous for producing boring, practical cars for everyone, with a few exceptions in the form of the crazy MX5 and RX8 . In 2012, a compact SUV debuted in the Japanese manufacturer's price lists - the CX5 model - announcing the upcoming radical changes. There is no trace of the old design, this time the stylists focused on dynamic embossing and aggressive lines . In addition to the standard daytime running lights made in LED technology , we can also count on xenon lights ( optional ). Already the shape of the front and rear bumpers clearly confirms the road disposition of the model - a typical bulbs (when approaching curbs we still have to be careful, this time with the low profile of the tires).

The 6th Karkonosze Family Rally will be held on August 25-30, 2015. Its organizer is the Polish Federation of Camping and Caravanning (PFCC), and the rally covers the whole of Poland. As every year, the program of the Karkonosze Family Rally is tourist and recreational in nature. The organizers are planning sightseeing trips and introducing participants to the attractions of the Jelenia Góra Valley and the Karkonosze Foothills, as well as active recreation - games and fun at the campsite. Guests will be able to relax at the foot of the Sudetes and spend time together at the barbecue.

In fairy tales, dragons had red, green or gold eyes. Albanian has blue eyes - or at least one. He looks at the world from a small country in southern Europe, from a place approx. 25 km from the city of Saranda, near the Greek border. Whether there are blue-eyed dragons is unknown. However, we know for sure that in the southern part of Albania there are forests that smell wonderfully with fir, cherries and nuts. They are crossed by a dozen or so springs, the most beautiful of which, seen from a bird's eye view, can amaze with its beauty. It is called Syri i Kaltër, which means "Blue Eye".

Appetite grows with eating. It is similar with the amenities useful at the campsite. Once we have an awning that will provide basic protection against sun or rain, we can consider that it is not enough. Additional protection can be provided by the vestibule, and various accessories will make your rest even more enjoyable. We recently wrote about Dometic awnings, but the awning itself may not be enough if you dream of a shaded corner. When we already have a canopy in the form of an awning, a great temptation is the possibility of additional walls that will allow you to organize additional space around the motorhome or caravan.
