A trip to Slovakia is a quick and effective way to ensure a pleasant entertainment and get to know the attractions that await just abroad - so close, nothing but reach. In just a few hours, we can find ourselves in one of the most beautiful Slovak cities, Kremnica. Just beyond the Polish-Slovak border is Trzciana (Trstená), a small town that was an important craft center in the past. There were many guilds in it, the most recognized being the guild of potters. Their products were characterized by characteristic ornaments, and the pottery clay of very good quality in the vicinity contributed to the intensive development of pottery. Tourists visiting the center can get acquainted with folk art, such as blacksmithing, ceramics and basketry - the local Cultural Center is very active.

There are those who assume in advance that in terms of equipment, the caravan will always lose to the motorhome. Does a small Eriba-Touring give grounds to challenge this opinion?. Well, even the greatest skeptic will probably be able to convince you that a 7-8 meter caravan can be equipped no worse than a luxury motorhome. But what can be said about the trailer, which measures 483 cm in its shortest version and 576 cm in the longest? Touring is the shortest model offered under the Eriba brand (its owner is the German Hymer, known for the production of motorhomes).

The rich skiing offer attracts tourists to Switzerland, France and Italy, but Sweden also has a lot to be proud of. Both campers and caravans have their ardent supporters. But when making a choice, it is best to take into account more than just personal preferences. A camper is a house on wheels. There should be everything you need inside. You can go anywhere in the world with it, as long as... the camper fits there. Unlike the living space in a camper, you can disconnect the trailer from the car, leave it at the campsite, and then explore the area by car, forgetting about the heavy ballast. However, if you intend to move often, frequent disconnection and connection of the trailer, as well as driving with a trailer, e.g. on narrow streets of tourist towns, may be a problem. So what to choose?.

St. Moritz is touted as one of the most famous resorts in the world. Is it right? Undeniably, and why, it remains to be seen. Let's start with the fact that it is located in the Swiss city of Graubünden, at an altitude of 1,856 m above sea level, on the lake of the same name, and the history of skiing and winter sports began right here. The stories about this resort often repeat the phrase "first in Switzerland", and even "first ever": the first ice rink in the world, the first Alpine city with an electric tram, the first Swiss ski school ... In a word, history owes a lot to St. Moritz, and cultural and sports events attract famous and rich people from the so-called big world (athletes, showbiz stars, politicians).

It cannot be denied that driving a caravan requires better skills and greater concentration than driving only a car. It is easiest to find out when driving on slippery surfaces. In extreme situations, it is easy to lose control of the trailer. However, to minimize this risk, it is worth spending some time and energy on its proper preparation. The trailer will be stable if you prepare it properly. Correct tire pressure is absolutely essential - if it is in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, the whole set will be more stable on the road.

The town is known as the place of rest for princess Sissi herself, and today it is adored by winter sports enthusiasts. Every year, a team of alpine skiers and snowboarders meet here at the World Cup. Due to its location - 1,550 m above sea level - and gondola lifts open all year round, Madonna di Campiglio is the starting point for mountain climbing. You can drive here on scenic routes, most of which are easy to medium difficult. The exception is 3 Tre, the slalom world cup race track and the fast Amazzonia on the slopes of Spinale. Skiing is also possible in the evening - the illuminated ski run Miramonti is waiting for those willing.

It is good if the decision to buy a camping car is not made hastily. Buying a camper shouldn't be the first thing you start your caravanning adventure with. You should already know in advance whether this method of traveling is suitable for you. So you can try to go camping with friends or, better yet, rent a camping vehicle yourself to verify your ideas about this type of holiday. Only when you learn not only the advantages, but also the difficulties related to e.g. limited parking options and even access to selected places, or related to vehicle maintenance (e.g. getting rid of waste), will you find out whether caravanig is really attractive to you proposal.

Before you buy a motorhome

2-in-1 products such as shampoos with conditioner are praised in advertisements, and 3-in-1 products, such as tonics or face lotions, are not uncommon. Meanwhile, nature - although also made by man - there are 4-in-1 products. Certainly one, completely unique. Near the Vanoise National Park, in the French region of Savoie, lies a complex of four ski resorts. At different altitudes, but linked like sisters, there are ski stations: Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000, which together form Les Arcs.

The Brevio T600 model was based on the Fiat Ducato. Certainly, it cannot be considered a luxury model, but it probably has everything you would expect from a motorhome, which costs less than 45,000 at the basic price. euro. The car is available with three different engines. The cheapest will be a motorhome with a 2.3 Mjet engine with 96 HP. There is also an engine with the same displacement, but with a power of 109 HP. The most expensive version has a 3-liter engine with 130 HP. What sets the Brevio apart, however, are not the engines. The construction of the camping part will be more interesting in this case. The completely flat walls are made of three-layer insulation boards, which should ensure both good ventilation in summer and high temperature in winter. Of course, the appropriate devices will help, although the cabin air conditioning (manual) is available only at an additional cost. The Truma 4 Combi heating is available as standard.

Burstner Brevio - an idea for the family

At the foot of the Mont Blanc peak lies the Chamonix valley - a place that will delight everyone. It is a small mountain town in the Haute-Savoie department (Rhone-Alpes region), which was practically unknown until the 19th century. It was then - in 1786 - that two daredevils first climbed "mont audit" ("the cursed place"). When the highest peak in Europe was conquered and its bad reputation was overcome, mountaineering enthusiasts, artists and scientists began to come to Chamonix. Today, the resort is one of the most famous ski resorts in France. In addition to the mountain itself, which impresses visitors, there are 400 other peaks, over 70 glaciers and 7 valleys, among which Chamonix is located. The first Winter Olympic Games were organized in the resort, and the first mountain guide association was founded here. Snow, conquering peaks and the winter element - Chamonix is irresistibly associated with it. The world's longest cable car is also located here, running from the resort to the peak of Aiguille du Midi. It was established in 1920. With the cable car to Pointe Helbronner, the top of the Aosta Valley in Italy, you can travel across the entire Mont Blanc massif by cable car.
