Do you remember how, while traveling around Italy this year, we showed you a 5-star campsite in the Dolomites with treehouses, where there is no kitchen, but there is a sauna? Today I will show you this campsite from a slightly different side - the winter side. Because it is a year-round campsite that has two high seasons - one in summer and the other in winter. Caravan Park Sexten impresses from the moment you enter. It lies at the foot of the famous peaks of Tre Cime or Drei Zinnen in German. The campsite is located in Italy, in the province of Bolzano, but very close to the border with Austria - hence the two names for the same mountain. South Tyrol is a place where the German language is mainly spoken and you can also expect cleanliness and order like in Austria.

How do you view the almost 9-meter motorhome? Hymer decided not to stop at the Master Line models in the 780 and 790 systems and added a new proposal to them: Hymer B Master Line 880. The impressive length of 8.89 meters and a width of 2.35 meters rests on a tandem axle for the first time, using the SLC chassis developed by Hymer. This, in turn, results in excellent driving characteristics. Such a long motorhome might seem difficult to drive. The producer argues, however, that nothing could be more wrong. The tandem axle is connected to a 177 hp Mercedes engine. The complete set was equipped with a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox, which ensures perfect adaptation of the driving speed to the prevailing conditions, as well as optimized fuel consumption.

In the 1990s, the Croatian government gave these areas a long-term free lease to boost tourism in the country. Even in 2015, the legal situation of these leases was quite unclear. Frankia NEO is a real camping car for two people, intended for amateur drivers, i.e. those with a category B driving license. Thanks to the use of ingenious solutions and light materials from Frankia, it was possible not to exceed the critical value of the gross vehicle weight (GVW) - 3.5 tons. Built on the chassis of a very comfortable Mercedes Sprinter, Frankia NEO has front-wheel drive. Assuming not to exceed 3.5 tons and maintaining a comfortable interior, the car had to lose excess kilograms, so the structure is slimmer than usual, without losing the highest quality known from other motorhomes of this manufacturer. The side walls and the floor are made of aluminum , only the ceiling is made of GRP. The dimensions of the car are 6980/2240/2900 mm. It is designed for two people .

With the Vision Venture concept model making its debut at this year's Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Hymer takes a completely new, fresh approach to motorhome design!. Hymer is looking to the future, more specifically to 2025. The Vision Venture on a Mercedes-Benz chassis was created in collaboration with BASF (yes, yes, those from the J videotapes). The original bodywork retains the grille, doors and headlights, while the windshield has been moved forward, the A-pillar, bonnet and roof have been redesigned.
