"Nice is not France, Nice is not Italy, Nice is Nice," wrote the local daily "Nice Matin" on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Nice's annexation to France. And you have to admit that there is something to it. The largest city on the Côte d'Azur is located in a narrow space between steep hills and a 7-kilometer-long beach on the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels). Right on the seafront there is one of the most famous boulevards in the world: the Promenade des Anglais , with hotels (including Hotel Negresco, known from many films), bars, restaurants and souvenir shops.

When I first heard about the idea at the Caravaning Summer Show, I immediately knew it was a bull's eye. I have been associated with the Hel Peninsula for almost 20 years. I come there at least once a year and I know that it is not only a windsurfing and kitesurfing center, but also a huge group of people who spend a lot of time camping. These fairs were dedicated to them.

The Adriatic coast is one of the most tolerant places for naturists in the world, and Croatia is, according to (numerous) voices, the center of world naturism. There are few people who promote the culture of a free body feel as at ease as here. Official and wild beaches await them, as well as places where the sun and the sea breeze are enjoyed by both holidaymakers without clothes, as well as those in bathing suits or bikinis. But after all, naturism is not only about an equal tan - the balance between man and nature is extremely important. Naturists love sports, being outdoors, and they also like healthy cuisine. In response to the needs and expectations of such tourists, special holiday centers come out, preparing a wide range of entertainment for them. What's the best way to end summer or - if you prefer - start fall? The answer is obvious: at a caravanning rally. For the second time, we invite you to Masuria, to the town of Ryn, to the Polish Caravanning Rally, Masurian Piekiełko. After the huge success of last year's edition, it became obvious that such a great event needs to be organized once again! Ryn is a town located somewhat off the beaten track of the Great Masurian Lakes, on two lakes: Ryńskie and Ołów . In the very center there is a Teutonic castle, and a beautiful promenade runs along the lake.

The French are extremely proud of their cuisine. Many of them consider it part of the world heritage and it is undeniable that they have reason to say so. French cuisine is light and delicate, aromatic (we will see it especially in Provence), and not too spicy. Among the herbs used, parsley, basil, tarragon, rosemary and thyme dominate, while garlic also plays an important role in recipes. The list of dishes worth knowing while relaxing in this beautiful country is long and it is difficult to choose from only five items. Why, be in France and not try seafood? Don't order onion soup or an omelette, forget about pancakes? Skip the tart or quiche? Remove ratatuja from list? And what about the baguette?.

Do you know that most caravanning enthusiasts travel as two? Contrary to appearances, the largest group of people traveling with motorhomes are not whole families, but pairs of younger or older people. Usually, after the first attempts with a rented motorhome, when we catch the caravanning bug, we start to think about something of our own, just for ourselves. The choice is not easy at all, but it turns out that Volkswagen has quite an interesting range of touring models to offer. The steam is unequal. Young, adventurous, mobile people will be looking for something other than mature people, with a set travel plan, who want to provide a substitute for a home in the place where they will go on vacation.

The title sounds like one of those challenges like "100 days to bikini" or "10 places you should definitely see while visiting". Here in Rome specifically. Well, how so? Are we supposed to get to know a city so old and so large in just 4 days? Is it even possible? The answer is no. But from the beginning. The capital of Italy has been tempting tourists for years. Not only the historic center, although it itself can absorb you for at least a few hours. You can spend the whole day there, walking from monument to monument, which will definitely feel good in your legs the next morning. The ancient heart of Rome beats inside the Aurelian Wall. You can walk from one end of the wall to the other at a brisk pace in about an hour, which gives us an idea of the distances that need to be covered. You can also spend your time in Italian - lazily. The streets of the historic part of the Eternal City are full of cozy pubs and shops.

A bike trip is one of the most enjoyable and easy-to-do adventures. Just get on the bike and go in any direction. It is worth setting the route in advance in general assumptions and finding out if it is suitable for cycling. For such a spontaneous trip, you only need to take a few essentials with you. It is different if the trip would last a few days or, for example, a week. This requires taking more items, as well as having a suitable bicycle, most often with the option of mounting a rack and bicycle panniers. Finally, there are expeditions that last more than a few weeks and lead through areas far from civilization. For example, a few or maybe several dozen cyclists are currently traveling alone in deserts around the world. To survive in extreme conditions on your own, you need to have perfect logistics.

For most of us, the end of August is associated with the end of holidays. Before summer becomes just a memory, however, one more trip is worth taking - to Düsseldorf. Probably every caravanning enthusiast associates this German city with the largest industry event in Europe - the Caravan Salon fair. This year, too, there should be plenty of attractions. When going to Germany, it is worth booking at least a few days to visit the exhibition halls. And there will be plenty to watch! Over 600 exhibitors have announced their participation. We will have the opportunity to admire 130 brands of motorhomes and caravans in as many as 13 exhibition halls with a total area of 214,000 square meters! One day is definitely not enough to visit all the stands calmly.

If we travel short distances, the standard suspension may be sufficient. However, if we like long trips, we probably would like them to be as comfortable and safe as possible. And if so, it is worth deciding to install an air suspension. When the standard motorhome suspension does not meet our expectations, it's time to get interested in pneumatics. The air suspension is available in two versions - it is cheaper and therefore the supporting suspension is more often used. Its lower price is due to because they are mounted on the existing mechanical suspension. It improves the stability of the vehicle, but unfortunately, it does not provide the same comfort as full air suspension. So if we can spend more money on the purchase, don't wonder - full air suspension will simply be better.
