The Motor Show in Poznań is not only the largest automotive fair in Poland, but also the largest exhibition of camping vehicles and accessories. It seems that caravanning in Poland is developing very dynamically, which in turn encourages exhibitors to bring new, often luxurious models of camping vehicles. The Caravanning Salon organized as part of the Poznań Motor Show is growing year by year. The exhibitors who appeared at the show for the first time could be counted on the fingers of one hand. However, those who strengthened their position on the market expand their stands and introduce new brands to sale. Their offer is getting richer, which also translates into more and more interesting exhibition "plots". There was so much interest in the fair that some companies had no choice but to enter the reserve list and wait for a possible vacancy.

Caravanning in Poznań - towards luxury

The Motor Show in Poznań takes place right after the Geneva Motor Show. And what is important - new products shown in Switzerland more and more often find their way to the Polish exhibition immediately. Thanks to this, we can see many cars as one of the first in the world. The list of new models that will be shown in Poznań is impressive this year, so we must confine ourselves to listing those that, in our opinion, will be the greatest attraction for visitors to the Motor Show. Once again, we will see the importance of ecological vehicles, although there will also be sports accents.

From Geneva to Poland - Poznań Motor Show 2017

During this year's edition of the Motor Show in Poznań, campers, caravans and caravanning accessories will be shown in three halls! Only one hall more is planned for the exhibition of passenger cars as part of the Motor Show. So it cannot be denied that caravanning in Poland is gaining in importance. We already know the list of exhibitors, and in the case of two of them we also know what they want to focus on this year. In hall 2 CarGO! will present, among others a fully integrated model Bavaria I740 C in the Allure version. The car, which is more than 7 meters long, offers four comfortable beds, including a queen-size double bed. In addition to the extensive equipment, the attention is also drawn to the large luggage space, amounting to almost 2,000 liters.

Caravanning Salon 2017 - what awaits us in Poznań?

Caretta caravans are an interesting alternative to the more typical types of caravans. Models of the "teardrops" are the most popular in the United States, while in our country they are a kind of exotic, and even a novelty. It is even more worth looking at the most popular version of the Caretta caravan - the 1500 model. We have already described the Caretta Off Road model, recommended primarily to owners of off-road vehicles. However, we do not have to have an off-road vehicle or SUV to decide on a trailer from the Turkish company Basoglu Caravan . Recall - this company has been producing caravans since 1976 , so we are dealing here with a very experienced company.

It turns out not for the first time that people who want their camper to look ultra-modern inside should look towards Italian manufacturers. Caravans International has just launched a new model with an intelligent energy-saving system, remote communication, and yes - with furniture straight from interior design magazines. Caravans International (the brand is also known as CI ) is the largest Italian manufacturer of motorhomes. His daughter brand - Roller Team - is better known in Poland. Moreover, it is worth noting that the name Triaca was initially reserved for the prototype of the latter brand.

When a car is driven with a heavy load, often bordering on the maximum allowed by a given manufacturer, the suspension must meet special challenges. Taking this into account, well-known manufacturers such as Goldschmitt, Drive Rite, or VB offer exceptionally strong air suspensions, which are intended especially for campers and special vehicles (including ambulances and fire brigade vehicles). The range of vehicles that have to move under heavy loads is - contrary to appearances - not small. The problem applies not only to tourist vehicles, but also to mobile shops and offices, tankers, and technical support vehicles. Such cars often work in various conditions - for example, one day they have to cover a very long distance at a relatively high speed, on another day they travel on holes, potholes or even dirt roads. And because this event is becoming more and more popular every year, it can be expected that more records will be broken this year as well. The Caravanning Salon, which has become an integral part of the Motor Show, is also becoming more and more important. From the summary of last year's Motor Show prepared by the organizers, we learn that the event attracted over 133,000 guests who visited vehicles and accessories displayed in as many as 10 halls. It is also important for us that in the final summary, the Caravanning Salon was listed in second place, right behind the key Car Showroom, among the most important events of the Motor Show. It is important to emphasize the fact that in just a few years the importance of this event has grown, and thus also the interest in caravanning in Poland.

You have certainly heard about electric cars more than once. But have you come across a motorhome powered by fuel from an outlet? The German company Zooom now offers a camper van with several engines to choose from - one of them is fully electric. The Zooom company has been building motorhomes since 1998. The manufacturer declares that its vehicles meet individual needs while maintaining reasonable prices and careful workmanship. Vehicles based on Citroen Jumper or Peugeot Partner were already on sale. Currently, however, the manufacturer uses only the Nissan NV200 as the basis for its touring cars, and these cars have received a new name: Zooom Stadtindianer . The car is 4.56 meters long and 1.75 meters wide. Its height (with the roof folded down) is 1.98 m.

Notin is a company with great traditions - it has existed since 1921. The first caravan was built in 1934, and the first motorhome - in 1949. Today, the company offers as many as 17 different models of motorhomes - from semi-integrated models to single-body luxury liners. Each of them attracts attention with its original interior. This time I will start personally. I will tell you that when I try to buy a car, I do not only take into account its technical parameters. I don't pay much attention to its external appearance either. On the other hand, the interior is of great importance to me - because this is where I will be spending all my travel time.
