It is the warmest water reservoir in the entire region (the water temperature in summer reaches 26°C), which makes it a real paradise for sailors, windsurfers, beachgoers and enthusiasts of hiking and cycling. On the northern shore of the lake, surrounded by history, mountains and greenery, there is a charming town of the same name – Mondsee.

Cavallino-Treporti is a wonderful corner of the Gulf of Venice, a bit aggressively between the waters of the Adriatic Sea and the lagoon. It is located so close to the capital of the region, lively and crowded at any time of the year, and yet it offers relaxation in the surroundings of nature, relaxation during cycling trips or walks on the beaches. And it must be emphasized that the island's beaches beat their competitors in the way - they are about 15 km long, wide and very picturesque. The surrounding areas are flat, friendly to tourists' feet, tempting for long walks and contemplating the beauty of nature. Cavallino's cultural calendar is full of interesting events, and the local cuisine is saturated with a variety of flavors. It will not be an exaggeration to say that the stay on the island is a feast for both body and spirit.

Some people say it's better not to come here in summer, mainly for two reasons: the smells and the tourists. In fact, Venice is crowded in summer, and the high temperatures make the smells above the canals even more intense. However, it is difficult to expect that a town built on marshy islands, which was once a fishing village, smells different than it does. And it is hardly surprising that in such an attractive tourist center it is crowded in high season. And Venice is beautiful without a doubt, even in crowds or in bad weather, it grabs the heart and steals the soul. Many a tourist will agree with the words of the writer Herman Melville: "I prefer to be in Venice on one rainy day than on a clear day in any other capital.".

Masuria is one of the most beautiful regions of Poland. For years, it has been very popular among tourists - it is most crowded in the period from July to August, but also in the off-season there are many people willing to spend their holidays at the Great Masurian Lakes. In September, lovers of peace and quiet come here, it is also the time of sailors. In winter, cross-country skiers, lovers of ice sailing, ice fishermen and fans of diving under the ice come out on the frozen surface. The region is extremely sunny (almost 2400 hours of sunshine a year), and the water surrounding it is characterized by a high degree of purity. No wonder that so many tourists decide to spend their holidays here - they are guaranteed to rest in a beautiful place with an excellent aura.

The truffle flavor of Istria

Today it is hard to imagine that exile to a beautiful island covered with Mediterranean vegetation can be a punishment. For Napoleon, however, it was quite painful, given that he was an ambitious person and, if he could, he would control several places at once, instead of being stuck on a piece of land surrounded by water. Meanwhile, it is enough to get to know this piece of land to envy the French emperor more than sympathize. Elba is the largest of the Tuscan Islands archipelago and the third largest island in Italy. It is situated on the border between the Mediterranean and the Ligurian Sea, and is approx. 10 km away from the coast. The long (almost 147 km) coastline attracts thousands of people every year for whom vacation in Italy is the time of sunbathing. There are beautiful beaches with golden sand and rocky, unfriendly to bare feet. The first group includes, among others Marina di Campo , Fetovaia or Cavoli, and to the second - Capo Bianco and Le Ghiaie. There are many steep cliffs on Elba, natural obstacles preventing you from reaching the wildest places by non-sea routes. The island teases the tourist this way, both tempting and demanding. The persistent ones are rewarded with views of picturesque coves, colorfully colored cliffs and lush greenery. Elba is also a place with the atmosphere of a fishing village. It is loved by divers, both beginners, who can explore, for example, the Pomonte wreck, lying on the bottom at a depth of 10 meters, as well as professionals. They prefer places like Capo Stella , where smooth-skinned moray eels swim between the red coral. On land, tourists spend their time equally interesting - on excursions, mountain climbing and a number of other activities (including a cable car trip to the top of Monte Capanne).

Green Elba

Will a lover of the past and admiring monuments be bored in a city where an impressive monument to the creator of Marxism, Karl Marx, stands to this day? Will there be attractions here that will overshadow the sculpture 7 meters high and weighing almost 40 tons? Will the center, which is perfectly suited to the term "city of modernism", be able to impress a tourist? The Saxon city of Chemnitz, because we are talking about it, can boast at least a few interesting places. During your holiday in Saxony , it is worth visiting the third largest (after Leipzig and Dresden) center of the region. It is situated on the river Chemnitz and has the same name. It was badly damaged during World War II, so today there are not many historic buildings in it. Most of them were replaced by factory halls, concrete blocks and modernist sculptures. Nevertheless, there are still some attractive places in Chemnitz that are worth seeing. They include, among others Klaffenbach Water Castle , located on the southern outskirts of the city, near the golf club. Together with the hotel and restaurant, it forms a complex surrounded by a beautiful landscape park. It is visited by tourists from various countries (including organized tours), and there are also many cultural events, outdoor events, workshops and exhibitions. Chemnitz also has a nice old Renaissance (Altes Rathaus) and Art Nouveau new town hall (Neues Rathaus). The historic part of the city is best seen from the Hoher Turm, the tower of the old town hall. While visiting Chemnitz , you can go to the top of one of the city's oldest buildings, the 12th-century Roter Turm (Red Tower), and visit the Jakobikirche, the Gothic church of St. James. An interesting point is the Gunzenhauser, a museum with a collection of modernist works, housed in the former seat of the local bank, and postal distance posts with the initials of the Polish king, Augustus II the Strong.

The story of Grado can begin with the fact that it is the part of Italy to which we have the closest from Poland. Chianti is a region that stretches between Siena and Florence and includes towns such as Radda, Castellina, Greve and Gaiole. It has gained a reputation for its unforgettable landscapes and the wonderful atmosphere of medieval towns. However, his greatest fame was not the landscapes, but the wine, including the star Chianti Classico. You will recognize it by the symbol - a black cockerel (gallo nero) is looking daringly from the bottle label. Chianti will appeal to anyone who wants to remember a holiday in Italy as a time to savor the flavors. The local landscapes are touching the heart, encouraging you to take long trips. The region smells of lavender and herbs, and gravel roads wind lazily over its gentle hills. There is hardly a person whose mood would not be improved by the sight of sunflower fields, which paint the landscape in a joyful yellow color. The color palette is joined by the greenery of vineyards covering hectares of land. Many tourists visit the region just to get to know the taste of local wine - Chianti is the most important wine region of Tuscany . The local products are red wines, mainly of the Sangiovese variety, with a strongly acidic taste and clear tannins. The best are Castello di Alma, Castell'in Villa and Fèlsina.

There are many places in Tuscany that are perfect for a holiday. Depending on what we expect, we can enjoy the amenities of a noisy seaside resort or soak up the atmosphere of small towns with narrow streets with all our senses. If we choose the Etruscan Coast, we will have a rest surrounded by a pine forest, relaxing on a sandy beach, many attractions in the water park and the taste of delicious wine. In the heart of the Etruscan Coast, on a hill visible from a distance, lies Castagneto Carducci , a typical tourist destination with almost as many holidaymakers as inhabitants during the summer season. Many of them occupy the coastal district - Marina di Castagneto Carducci . The local beach has the Blue Flag status, it is sandy and wide, but most of its sections are paid. If someone would like to sunbathe economically and without crowds, he should wander a little further, outside the center. On the outskirts, the beaches are not developed, but intimate. Natural dunes stretch by them, the air smells like pine trees and you can hear cicadas. People who are relaxed about life can walk a few hundred meters further north (towards Marina di Bibbona). There they will find an unofficial naturist beach - a guarantee that they will bring an equal tan from their holidays in Italy .
