MOTOR SHOW 2016 part 1

The time of rest after an active holiday began with such a view ... The need for silence, "desert" - no people, no wifi, no www, no forum ... Where? The fate fell on the east of Poland . Overnight somewhere at a gas station to visit a beetle in Szczebrzeszyn in the morning. . . . . Another stop and very good hot chocolate with fruit on the market square in Zamość. . . . . . . . . . . From here to the north and on the way the Orthodox Holy Mount Grabarka. . . . . . On the way to Białowieża, there is a beautiful Orthodox church in the village of Kleszczele.

Behind the Bug

Another interesting place in Poland is Wierzchosławice - the Wincenty Witos Museum , which consists of a family house from 1814, where Wincenty Witos was born, and a farm built by him in 1905-1913. The farm consists of: a residential building, a stable, two barns and a cellar. . . In the old house, ethnographic exhibits showing life in the countryside in the 19th century have been collected, while the interior of the residential house in the new homestead has retained its original character from the period of Witos' life.

Another trip to Lublin took us to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Kębło in Wąwolnica . The Lublin region delights with its wonderful green forests and clean air. We went to Wąwolnica through beautiful Nałęczów, next to the plants producing "Nałęczowianka", and on the way back we had lunch at Karczma Nałęczowska , where a revolution was recently made by Magda Gessler. First, we visited the Minor Basilica in Wąwolnica ... . . . ... next to which, in the Chapel , there is the Miraculous Figure of Our Lady of Kębło.

Winter trip to the Malbork Castle . A bit crazy ... Well, what would you call a one-day trip to such a remote corner of Poland? It is true that I left Warsaw in the morning, so the distance is not so large, but ... when you listen to navigation, you drive this road (on the other hand, BoXerek passed the winter driving test). . Unfortunately, this pace of travel meant that I showed up at the checkout at 13.55 (according to the price list, from 13.15-14.00 in the winter season, tickets are cheaper - PLN 14 / PLN 9), but the lady closed the window for the "technical break", informing that from 14.15 tickets will be cheaper and ... indeed: PLN 7 / PLN 4. But visiting time ... Interiors until 3:00 p.m., exterior until 4:00 p.m. So it was an "express" tour, but today I know that I will come back to Malbork for the whole day in the summer. Malbork in winter ... in a motorhome

For the last days of summer or the "golden Polish autumn", I recommend a one-day trip: Pieskowa Skała - Ojców . For me it was the last trip before winter. Anyway, we can see the autumn aura in the pictures. The first mention of Pieskowa Skała (Peskenstein) appears for the first time in 1315, in a document issued by Władysław Łokietek. It is probably a wooden fortress founded by Henryk the Bearded in the area of today's village of Sułoszowa. Casimir the Great built on the present site in the first half of the 14th century royal castle, as another link in the defensive chain of "eagles' nests". The upper castle on Dorotka's Rock was destroyed in a fire in 1850 and collapsed three years later. The lower castle, rebuilt and changing owners many times, was taken over by the Ministry of Culture and Art in 1949. Under the supervision of prof. Dr. Alfred Majewski, restoration works were carried out, thanks to which the castle acquires its present appearance.

I'm starting my next trip to Norway . A trip for 8 people with two motorhomes from the DUNI company. The program was initially outlined, but has already changed, instead of Tropical Island, we want to stop in Oslo on our way back. In any case, we have to make the ferry tomorrow, and then spontaneously ... NORWAY 18.07 - 29.07.2011. Day 0 - July 17, 2011 - 300 km Departure to Kielce, hours. 15.00. Access to the DUNI company and bringing two motorhomes to Kielce. We leave our two passenger cars in Nowy Sącz.

Norway 2011

Today, a section of approx. 550 km from Carta to Mamaia. Good road E68, then a little worse E81, but once it became a freeway it was OK, just boring. Bucharest bypass to drive, but not likely during rush hour. Fortunately, we traveled around 1pm our time. Bucharest-Constanta Highway, 11 lei additionally. Behind the highway, we turned left and drove about 20 km on a gravel road, but thanks to this we avoided Constanta. Camping S is big and nice, only a few sanitary requirements. Cost: 115 lei / day / set.

Romania 2011 - part 2 - at the seaside

It's time to go on a trip to Romania . Of the 5-6 crews that declared themselves, I was unfortunately left alone with my friend in a passenger car ... Well, life plays various tricks. Two crews, i.e. 8 people, take part in the expedition. My vacation was also in doubt, but it worked. The media patronage over the expedition was taken by "Polski Caravaning". . Day 1 The trailer is ready for the road, the food is packed (that's why the trailer is still connected to 230V), the crew and personal belongings. We can meet snow in the mountains and heat at the seaside. Departure today 22.00.

Romania 2011 - part 1 - in the mountains

I invite all users of caravans and campers who want to start the 2015 caravanning season in this way. Following the example of walking pilgrimages, we go to Częstochowa together, but in groups of different colors. We encourage you to represent your club / circle with flags, emblems and club clothes ... Of course, the pilgrimage and the place of the "rally" requires some behavior from us. So the pilgrimage is ALCOHOL FREE. Cost - is the cost of the car park at Jasna Góra Monastery. Meals on your own. Sanitary facilities at the Pilgrim's House. Since last year, it is possible to connect to 230V in several sectors.
