You have certainly heard about electric cars more than once. But have you come across a motorhome powered by fuel from an outlet? The German company Zooom now offers a camper van with several engines to choose from - one of them is fully electric. The Zooom company has been building motorhomes since 1998. The manufacturer declares that its vehicles meet individual needs while maintaining reasonable prices and careful workmanship. Vehicles based on Citroen Jumper or Peugeot Partner were already on sale. Currently, however, the manufacturer uses only the Nissan NV200 as the basis for its touring cars, and these cars have received a new name: Zooom Stadtindianer . The car is 4.56 meters long and 1.75 meters wide. Its height (with the roof folded down) is 1.98 m.

Notin is a company with great traditions - it has existed since 1921. The first caravan was built in 1934, and the first motorhome - in 1949. Today, the company offers as many as 17 different models of motorhomes - from semi-integrated models to single-body luxury liners. Each of them attracts attention with its original interior. This time I will start personally. I will tell you that when I try to buy a car, I do not only take into account its technical parameters. I don't pay much attention to its external appearance either. On the other hand, the interior is of great importance to me - because this is where I will be spending all my travel time.

Basoglu trailers have been built since 1976 in the Turkish town of Adapazari. Today, the 6,000 m2 factory focuses mainly on the production of teardrop trailers, which have made the brand internationally successful. Recently, these remarkable teardrop-shaped trailers can also be purchased in Poland. The first teardrop model, called Caretta 1200 , was launched by Basoglu in 2008. It was a hit, because the Turkish caravan aroused interest all over the world and is now available in 30 countries. And because Careta is easily subject to various modifications, in 2012 the manufacturer presented new models - Caretta Cargo (for transport applications) and Caretta Off Road .

At the west end of France, in the city of Brest, there is a small plant that converts small vans into motorhomes. Characteristic for the Iroise brand are models with a lifting roof, which the company uses mainly on the basis of the Volkswagen T6, Peugeot Expert and Fiat Doblo. Today we will focus on these last two proposals. The biggest novelty in the Iroise range is the new Peugeot Expert. As a motorhome, it comes with two types of roof. The first model was conceived as a four-seater vehicle, and its greatest distinguishing feature is the tilting roof with a double sleeping place "on the upper floor". You can also sleep in the lower part of the cabin.

Flow Camper is not meant to be ultra-modern at all. Instead, it has to be homely, cool, easy to like and that's why - based on the simplest solutions. For the creators of the brand, clear, transparent rules are also important, which is why the customer receives full tourist equipment as standard. How much money is a customer willing to pay for the impression that they are buying a vehicle with a soul? According to the German manufacturer, it must be at least 46 thousand. euro - that's how the cheapest FlowCamper was priced. But will such an expense actually make us go back in time and feel the energy that the hippies had around us? I am afraid that equipping the newest Volkswagen Transporter with colorful kilims is not enough - but let everyone judge it for themselves.

While many motorhome manufacturers still offer the choice between two or three body colors, the Slovenian company distinguished itself in the simplest way possible - with a total of 10 different paint finishes for customers to choose from. The rest is pretty much standard - but a good standard. Bravia Mobil is a little known manufacturer of motorhomes, which creates its motorhomes on the basis of the Peugeot Boxer . The brand was founded in 2005, and its roots are not related to the automotive industry, but to the production of furniture. The Vidmar company has been producing furniture for over 30 years, and the search for new expansion opportunities prompted the owners to use their furniture know-how also in the bodies of tourist vehicles.

The huge demand for motorhomes, especially motorhomes, which we are currently dealing with in Europe (especially in Germany) has caused new producers to enter the game. Womondo is a new brand that wants to build extraordinary touring vehicles - so far based on the Opel Movano. The "new" in the industry has to somehow stand out. At a time when most motorhomes are based on the Fiat Ducato , choosing the Opel Movano will surely be an eye-catching move. However, what is supposed to be the most important feature associated with Womondo is the possibility of preparing a "tailor-made" car, which in this case means 10,000 available configurations! The CMT 2017 tourism fair in Stuttgart is just coming to an end. 2,000 exhibitors from around 90 countries showed over 850 vehicles and countless tourist accessories. The manufacturer has great hopes for it, because this vehicle is in line with the currently fashionable trend of light trailers, compact in size , and at the same time decorated in bright colors, which is to attract especially young customers. Can you take… a trailer with you for a bike ride? Yes, of course! The trailer by Wide Path Camper is small, light and can be easily pulled by a bicycle. This caravan is so small that in terms of comfort and equipment it will not compete with any full-size caravan. However, it has other advantages, and those who like to take long bicycle trips will appreciate them. It is certainly more comfortable to travel without such ballast than with it, but how else can you take a place to sleep with you? From year to year, we find more and more models in the range of motorhomes of the Polish brand Globe-Traveler . Currently, six series of tourist vehicles are leaving the plant in Karczew near Warsaw, including the extremely interesting Pathfinder , combining the features of the top Voyager and the compromise Explorer. The current offer of Globe-Traveler opens with the Active series. Above we find the Challenge and Explorer series. Pathfinder is the penultimate proposition, based on Explorer, but with two elements from the highest positioned Voyager . The Averso Plus caravan is Burstner's proposal for a family larger than two adults and two children. Although the vehicle has quite standard dimensions, it can sleep six or even seven people. The downside is the modest standard equipment. Averso Plus is available in four variants, the shortest of which measures 656 cm , and the other 728, 740 and 751 cm. The width of each trailer is 230 cm, and the height is 274 cm. A person measuring less than 212 cm can fit in the threshold without bending the head.
