For a large group of drivers who are enthusiasts of caravanning, the most important element in a passenger car is safety . Undoubtedly, Volvo is a brand famous for its great concern for passive and active safety . The Swedish manufacturer has been operating under the tutelage of the Chinese owner for several years, which has in no way affected the quality of the cars it produces. The Volvo model range has grown considerably over the past few years, with the XC60 being the most popular model . This compact SUV also remains the most popular car in the premium segment in Poland.

The British brand Lunar has been involved in caravanning for over 45 years. The company started with the production of caravans, but in our opinion today it is much more distinguished on the market by interesting models of motorhomes . Lunar can surprise, which he proved a few years ago by launching a motorhome based on the Nissan NV200 Combi (we wrote about it here: Lunar Vacanza - for holidays and shopping ). This is one of the few, if not the only example in the world, of using this model in caravanning on a large scale.

Auto-Sleepers gives customers something they love: variety. The offer of this British company includes both tourist versions of the Mercedes Vito, slightly larger motorhomes based on Peugeot and Volkswagen, as well as "real" mid-range motorhomes. Although the Auto-Sleepers brand is virtually unknown in our country, its origins date back to 1961, when a British family converted a Morris delivery truck into a car that was to prove itself during a trip to France. And because products created out of passion usually work best, the amateur campervan aroused great interest and prompted its creators to remake more cars - this time for sale.

A large selection of small motorhomes

The automotive market has its own rules from the very beginning. Fashion and trends are of key importance here, which can be seen especially today. Universal constructions, SUVs , which used to combine features from opposite segments, are still growing in popularity. It is thanks to such a mixture of genes that cars like Nissan Qushqai are very popular, also among caravanning enthusiasts. Their higher ground clearance and optional four-wheel drive prove to be very useful, not only in alpine resorts or in snowy cities.

In addition to the halls carefully filled by manufacturers of passenger cars and motorcycles, the part intended for caravanning enthusiasts was very popular. As in other exhibition halls, we could see hostesses often serving as help and a friendly smile, especially for lenses, at almost every stand. Walking around the caravanning hall, apart from rich information folders, we could use professional and reliable help of employees of companies presenting their products.

In addition to German producers dominating the campers market, manufacturers of Italian equipment can boast an interesting offer. Contrary to the aforementioned competitors, apart from high-quality workmanship, they also serve clients with great attention to the smallest details, especially design. Rimor, the author of the Katamarano 3 model, has a similar approach to its products. The Italian manufacturer , unlike other players on the market, has not decided to use the Fiat Ducato chassis . Instead, Rimor used a Renault Master , a larger-caliber delivery vehicle. Surprisingly, the car leaves the factory with a black bumper, straight from the budget version. The exterior of the Catamarano 3 does not capture the hearts of passersby, it is just another real European motorhome. Of course, we can choose from the available sticker designs , or give them up at all. The side windows have been darkened considerably , so that even on sunny days, the air conditioning does not have to work with a heavy load. In the rear part of the body, the manufacturer has placed a large storage compartment , perfect for bicycles or other tourist equipment. The STOP light installed at the very top of the third body was designed for safety reasons.

The caravanning season is slowly beginning, all preparations for holiday escapades are gaining momentum. Many people struggle with a serious dilemma: what type of motorhome will be perfect for them, which type of motorhome to choose in order not to overpay or buy too little equipment. In order not to make a costly mistake, it is better to think in advance what exactly we need. Only when we know our expectations exactly, we can choose the manufacturer, model and its configuration. The extensive motorhomes guarantee their users convenience, comfort and extensive accessories . Unfortunately - for many enthusiasts, they have one major disadvantage: their huge dimensions make it very difficult to maneuver in a crowded city, on a camping field, and even make it impossible to use many parking lots. Interestingly, the situation is not saved even by vehicles built on the basis of delivery trucks with tin bodies - they are also much too tall .

For caravanning enthusiasts, only cars with practical bodies are important. Sedans, small hatchbacks or coupes do not exist. SUVs and station wagons , which have been popular recently, are different. Especially mid-range estate cars show more than sufficient suitability and functionality. In addition to the VW Passat and similar designs, the Citroen C5 deserves our attention - its several advantages are not available to anyone else in the D segment. Despite several years on the market ( it has been available since 2008 ), the C5 still counts in the fight for the client. The conservative silhouette enriched with the latest technology can still be enjoyed. Subtle and balanced accessories create an aesthetic whole, almost elegant.

A few months ago, we wrote about the great importance of the automotive fair, especially for people who are currently looking for a motorhome, caravan or all kinds of caravanning / tourist equipment . Even long hours of comparing the offers of individual companies on the Internet will not bring a similar result to the visual assessment of each of the models we are interested in. The choice of the perfect equipment for us could be helped by a visit to the Motor Show in Poznań - where it was possible to check, configure and finally order a specific model in a few hours. We could also buy or at least choose the right accessories in the caravanning hall (furniture, dishes and many more).

In the manufacturer's catalog from across the Oder river, the Premium model is quite interesting, as, according to many users, it also meets all the expectations of a family of four. At first glance, Hobby Premium stands out from other competing caravans. Modern design combined with sophisticated attention to detail make up an interesting whole. The white body is diversified with oblong, tinted windows and stickers. The rear lights are made in LED technology, which only makes the appearance of the trailer more attractive.
