For this year's CMT trade fair in Stuttgart, which takes place in January, Hymer has prepared an interesting novelty. It is the ML-T model, the base of which is the Mercedes Sprinter. Hymer ML-T is a semi-integrated vehicle, so in the front it looks like a typical delivery truck, but in the back, instead of a luggage space, it has a camping section. You can choose from versions with a 4-cylinder engine with 129 HP and a 6-cylinder engine with 190 HP. The 7G-Tronic 7-speed automatic transmission is also available on request.

Volkswagen T5 has recently become a fashionable object of transformation. Although its modest dimensions do not allow it to be made a full-fledged motorhome, the Volkswagen version of California with a retractable high roof fired the imaginations of motorhome manufacturers. Hymer - known mainly for large motorhomes and caravans, under the HymerCar brand it offers small camping vehicles based on vans. Currently, the offer includes three models based on Fiat Ducato and one, the smallest, based on the Volkswagen T5.

The Centurion is the flagship model of the Concorde brand. This huge truck from Germany can successfully compete with the most "fancy" camping buses of American manufacturers. Big maybe more. A huge motorhome means no compromises resulting from a small space, and also allows you to install almost any equipment. Americans dominate the production of camping vehicles in XXL sizes, but I must admit that their work has not always aroused my admiration. Looking at them, I often got the impression that luxury and glamor cannot be combined with class and good taste.

Sterling is a British brand belonging to the Swift Group . The company produces cabins, campers based on vans, but most of all caravans, including the most expensive caravan, Sterling Elite. Sterling Elite belongs to the group of large trailers. It comes in two lengths. The smaller model is the 7.32 m Sterling Elite Amber with a single axle. The weight of this trailer in running order is 1521 kg. The Explorer and Seacher versions are larger - their length is 7.99 meters and the weight is 1663 and 1672 kg, respectively.

Here is the Iveco Daily in a version you hardly see every day. For the Dethleffs brand, the Premium Liner model is a showcase - so important that it comes off a separate production line, different from other motorhomes. Technically, we are dealing with a modernized Iveco Daily 70 C17 with a 3-liter JTD engine with 170 HP. But you have to pay much more for it than for a van. Dethleffs offers a camping version of this vehicle with prices from 177,900 euros (in Germany). In return, we get a car that does not resemble its prototype at all - it resembles a neat bus rather than a delivery car. This association can be confirmed by the presence of large, externally accessible compartments located between two layers of the floor. A large garage , however, should dispel doubts - such a facility is typical for premium motorhomes.

Dethleffs Premium Liner - a motorhome for demanding customers

Terock is a motorhome based on the T5 Rockston model. The German company Terra-Camper , which loves to remake Volkswagen, showed what can be done from a seemingly boring van. The basis of Terock can be Volkswagen T5 in any configuration. The engine can range from 83 to 180 HP, and the drive may only be on the front wheels, or on all of them. Versions with both 5-speed and 6-speed gearbox are used. The longest models can measure up to 5,292 mm, and the wheelbase can be extended up to 3,400 mm . The idea of Terock (as well as other Terra-Camper models) is based on a modular construction. Thanks to this, in the middle of the car we will find something like blocks. All of them are made of aluminum, which means that they do not overload the vehicle. And this is especially important in this case, because with an unladen weight of 2,850 kg and a permissible gross weight of 3,200 kg , passengers only have 350 kg to use .

Celtic Rambler is the most expensive caravan in the offer of the British brand Fifth Wheel . If you dream about a huge trailer that can be attached to e.g. a pickup truck, you couldn't have found a better place!. Let's start with the disadvantage. You cannot pull this trailer with a Fiat Seicento or even a Volkswagen Golf. The minimum will be a strong pickup, because the Celtic Rambler caravan weighs 3,200 kg. When fully loaded - 1,100 kg - we will achieve the permissible total weight of 4,300 kg . And if so, then a B-category driving license is not enough and you have to add Viatoll (road tolls) when traveling in Poland.

Volkswagen Ogórek, Samba, Transporter, Bus, Kombi, Bulik, Hippie Van, T1 / T2 or even Camper - this car was called variously in various regions of the world and in various variants, but everywhere it aroused above-average interest and sympathy. After 67 years, its production ends. Not everyone knows that a car called in Poland (because of its shape) a cucumber is still being produced. But even in Brazil, where it still rolls off the assembly line, this iconic car is coming to an end. As usual, success is the result of many coincidences. It all started with the Volkswagen Beetle, and later with its delivery version. McLouis Nevis has everything you would expect from an Italian car. You can love it or hate it for its original appearance, but it is impossible to pass by it indifferently. We will discover attention to detail both in its external appearance and inside.

Is it possible to have a small, agile car and at the same time be a spacious motorhome? Well, not really. But you can have a small car with the equipment typical of a motorhome. The proposals of the British Danbury brand are aimed more at customers ready to compromise… Or maybe also for those for whom the convenience of movement is more important than the comfort in the interior. For young, mobile people who want to move efficiently and explore the world, Volkswagen Caddy and Fiat Doblo in camping versions can be interesting solutions and certainly cheaper than the more "adult" versions of motorhomes.

The Ford Nugget in the version prepared by the German company Westfalia Mobil is available (on special order) from the official Ford dealer network in Germany. It can be concluded that the manufacturer fully accepts the changes that were used in this camping variant of Transit. Ford Nugget Westfalia in the version for 2014 was presented at this year's fair in Dusseldorf. From September this year, the car can be ordered from Ford dealers. The price of the vehicle consists of two elements. You have to pay 36,000 for the car. Euro in the version with a 125 HP engine or 38 thousand. euro for the stronger version - 155 HP. In both cases, the car is powered by a 2.2-liter turbodiesel with a six-speed manual gearbox.

Adria is getting ready for the new season with a new version of the Adora and Astella models. Based on the information disclosed so far, we can expect that the changes relate mainly to aesthetics, although new interior layouts will also appear. The Adria brand offer includes six models of caravans, including the mid-range Adora model and the most expensive - Astella. In the case of these two models, their specifications for the new year are not yet known, but photos are available so that we can find out what will change in the appearance of both trailers.
