We mentioned them both when we wrote about the bold ideas of amateur constructors and when describing T @ B vehicles. But there are many more companies whose success is based on small, rounded trailers. Today we will present another of them.

To purchase one of the most expensive motorhomes in the world, you will need a budget of well over $ 2 million. Americans and Canadians excel in the production of luxury A-class motorhomes . There is nothing strange to see a cosmic-looking bus, often with graphics in the shape of burning flames, inside which the interior is completely forgotten about moderation. Perfect wood, high-quality leather and the most expensive equipment are standard in each of them.

Holiday Rambler is an American manufacturer that has been producing luxury caravans since 1953. The ones from the Presidential series are to be a reference to the times when the Holiday Rambler set (or rather exceeded) the standards on the market of exclusive leisure vehicles. The new project was consulted with the owners of caravans of the same name, produced in the 1980s and 1990s. The manufacturer's representatives asked five of them what they would expect from the new version. Their suggestions were used in the construction of a completely new caravan.

Nice, modern interior and nice equipment - this is what Fendt sees as a pass to a higher class caravanning. Two-color furniture and light upholstery create an impression of spaciousness. This effect is further enhanced by numerous light points and "designer" main lamps above the table and above the main bed. These lamps look like round mirrors surrounded by LED lamps. Not only do they look great, they also reflect light.

We will try to point out the main differences and similarities between the different versions of the LMC Musica caravan. Musica focuses on relaxation and gives a comfortable rhythm to our lives - that's what the advertisement on the manufacturer's website says. How is it really?. LMC is a German company that produces campers and caravans. Trailers are produced in three series - Scandica is the best equipped model, especially adapted to winter conditions, Maestro is a mid-range trailer, and Musica is the basic model, although not in every version shorter than its richer brothers.

Some beginnings of caravanning are derived from Gypsy caravans. It was the Roma who spent most of their lives traveling for years, putting all their belongings in carts, which often served as homes. These cars were more and more perfected, e.g. stoves were installed in them ... However, it would be difficult to conclude that the Gypsies traveled for recreational purposes. The first trailer , which was supposed to serve primarily the pleasure of its owner, was built in 1880 in Great Britain. The 5-5 meter horse-drawn camping car was constructed by the Bristol Carriage Company, offering representatives of the upper classes a new form of recreation .

The history of caravanning in a nutshell

Doesn't it look nice? Integra Line, a fully integrated motorhome from the German company Eura Mobil. It is worth taking a closer look at it. The base will not surprise us. The Integra Line motorhome is a Fiat Ducato, as standard with a 130 HP engine with a permissible total weight of 3.5 tons. However, the power can be increased to 180 HP and the weight to 4,250 kg. From the outside, however, we will not see any traces of Fiat in Integra, and our attention should not escape the body structure. They are made of CFRP composites , i.e. materials reinforced with carbon fiber. This increases the stiffness and strength of the body. The walls do not contain wooden elements.

For those who have everything, but would like even more, the German company Most Mobile Specials in cooperation with the camping company Eura Mobil has prepared the Futuria Sport + Spa model. Most specializes in the production of futuristic-looking special-purpose trucks, e.g. for business and promotional purposes. However, the offer also includes a model that should be of particular interest to enthusiasts of active leisure - of course, those whose wallets enable life without any compromises. The Futuria Sport + Spa model is hardly a motorhome in the classic sense, but this monster with an aerodynamic front end, equipped with a 200 HP engine, has a lot to offer enthusiasts of long journeys. In this case, no compromises means a large garage that can easily accommodate a sports car , a living room, two bedrooms and a terrace over the entire surface of the trailer.

Futuria motorhome - more than a luxury

Among the Eriba caravans, the Nova Light model is in the middle of the pack. This caravan isn't the biggest, it's not the most luxurious, but it's not the cheapest either. Perhaps it is a good compromise in terms of price and comfort. Compact on the outside - comfortable inside, this is how the German manufacturer advertises this caravan. Despite the fact that Nova Light is approx. 6 meters long, each of the four versions has four beds. The internal height is 1.98 m , which means that most people will not have to bend down when cooking, for example. The width is 2.12 m. Due to the permissible total weight of 1,200 kg (it can be increased for an additional fee, up to 1,500 kg), even a small passenger car can pull the trailer.

Eriba Nova Light - common sense above all

If you want to see how much Europe differs from America, take a look at this car. What is quite average compared to other camping vehicles from the United States would be quite a shock, e.g. on a Polish camping field ... The manufacturer, Thor Motor Coach , claims that the ACE EVO is a compromise between an A-class motorhome (i.e. a motorhome the size of a small bus) and a C-class (an extended van). This compromise is 8-10 meters long (depending on the version) and somehow it does not suit us in any way to combine it with, for example, a camping Fiat Ducato. But this is America - there the words "standard" and "compromise" clearly have a different meaning than in our country.

ACE EVO - a motorhome for the (American) masses

Palace is the flagship work of the Morelo brand. The other models - Loft and Home, are smaller and truncated variants of the palace motorhome. It was there that the manufacturer decided to close the best. 12 interior layouts to choose from and 3 chassis variants - this is the choice of customers who choose the Palace version. But then there's the Palace Liner , available with 10 interior layouts and seven chassis versions!. The largest Palace - Liner 108 GSB (10,950 mm long) has a garage for a Mini or other car up to 3.75 m , and its interior is very spacious. The smallest - 80 H (8,230 mm) is a bit tighter, its garage will not fit a car, but the interior layout itself will be similar. In each variant of the Palace, the bedroom and living room are separated from each other by a walk-through bathroom, closed on both sides.
