Alpina is the Adria brand's most luxurious family of caravans. In 2013, the series was refreshed, which, according to the manufacturer, made it even more innovative. What can we really expect from the new Alpina?. At the beginning, it is worth making a small caveat. Alpina Alpina uneven, because the caravan with that name can be both 760 and 937 cm long . However, the differences lie not only in the sizes and layouts of the interior. In different versions, different elements of equipment were used - so in one Alpina we can find a different washbasin or shower mixer than in the other.

That's right - just stretch out your hand and press a button, and after 45 seconds, a car that looks like a regular Volkswagen T5 will extend and rise upwards. The Danbury Motorcaravans vehicle is a bold cross between a van and a motorhome. Although the British invented the Doubleback version, it is not the first construction of this type in the world. Previously, telescopically enlarged vehicles were used in the military. The difference, of course, is in the application. Doubleback was developed for completely peaceful purposes - thanks to it we can go on a picnic and relax almost as well, as in a motorhome.

We have described the most spectacular vehicles that have visited the Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf in a separate article. However, the largest trade fairs in Europe are dominated by vehicles that are much less effective, but more practical. The Hobby brand has changed the Hobby Siesta motorhome series. 12 variants of this vehicle are already on sale. They are available at a price of approx. 40 thousand. euro. Customers can choose the Siesta Van models, in which the cargo space has been converted into a relaxation area, Siesta - higher and longer than standard models, and Siesta Alkoven - with an additional sleeping area above the driver and passenger area. None of these vehicles exceed the permissible total weight of 3.5 tons. The width of the narrowest models is 2.18 m, thanks to which the Siesta can also cope with narrow streets. The novelty is also more modern interiors in light shades of beige and gray.

Caravan Salon 2013 - continued

The camping vehicles of the German brand Morelo are usually integrated vehicles, resembling small buses. But the Palace Alkoven model is different. The fact that it was based on the MAN TGL truck is a very important difference. You may ask, what's the difference? After all, it is actually a car with an alcove above the driver's cabin, and there are many of them on the market. However, this angular vehicle has something that sets it apart. Despite the apparent integration, the driver's cabin is in this case completely separated from the camping area. This necessitates a slightly different use of the car, if only because the driver has no contact with the rest of the vehicle .

Morelo Palace Alkoven - a bit different than all of them

The organizers expect that the currently ongoing Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf will attract a total of 160,000 people. visitors. 570 exhibitors from 22 countries show their products in and around nine exhibition halls. Two trends can be noticed during the fair in Düsseldorf. On the one hand, manufacturers are trying to offer smaller and lighter versions of their motorhomes and caravans, on the other - luxury vehicles, even more expensive and even better equipped than in previous years, are sensational. Technical innovations are also popular, such as controlling the on-board equipment of a motorhome with a tablet.

The largest caravanning fair is taking place in Dusseldorf

Weinsberg produces caravans and motorhomes in van, semi-integrated and alcove versions over the driver's head. Let's look at the latter option. All Weinsberg motorhomes are based on Fiat Ducato. There are three drive units to choose from - 2.0 l., 2.3 l. And 3.0 l. Multijet. We have six body versions. The shortest 600 MG model is available with one interior layout. The 650 MG model comes in three variants, and the longest 700 MX - in two. This already shows which version the manufacturer pays the most attention to, probably expecting that the "medium" version will be the most popular. The permissible total weight of each model is 3.5 tonnes.

Weinsberg motorhome - lots of different interiors

Niesmann + Bischoff GmbH is a German company that currently offers only two vehicles. They are fully integrated Arto and Talent motorhomes . Let's take a look at the cheaper one. There is a reason to dedicate an article to the Arto model. In the plebiscite of The Motorhome Awards 2013, this motorhome won the title of Luxury Coachbuilt Of The Year 2013 . Although what you like is a very subjective issue, let's agree that beauty is not the greatest asset of this vehicle. It will be undisputed that the appearance is original. It is impossible to find any connections with the Fiat Ducato it is based on, and it is easy to distinguish it from other motorhomes.

ARTO motorhome - awarded to Germany

Thanks to the retractable roof, you can spend a romantic night under the stars - encourages the Polish distributor of the Dethleffs brand. Such a solution is available in the Tourist SD caravans. Dethleffs Tourist trailers are available in Poland in seven variants. Three of them are marked SD, the rest are HD. The SD model is available in lengths of 613 and 663 cm. The HD gives you more choice - in addition, a length of 543 cm is available. Each Tourist is 210 cm wide , so it is relatively narrow, which means less space in the middle on the one hand, and easy driving on the other.

Dethleffs with a view of the stars

Of course, you can go camping with a trailer from Niewiadów connected to an Opel Astra or a Skoda Octavia. You can also go on a trip in a motorhome, for example converted from Fiat Ducato. But some people prefer the Mini. Camping Mini versions? Oh how! There are quite a lot of them. And although they are usually concept models, they attract fans of this stylish brand around them. Perhaps the most successful concept for leisure in the Mini version is Cowley - a caravan named after the historic factory, now known as the Oxford Factory. This caravan is distinguished by its small size and quite pleasant teardrop shape. An attentive observer will notice many elements of the body refined down to the smallest detail - and yet it is precisely for such people, who value individual style and are ready to pay dearly for it, the Mini.

Style counts - that is Mini at the campground

This is not a car suitable for regular camping . However, if you want to experience a real adventure and you can go on a long vacation (the usual one is not enough), EarthCruiser will be perfect for an expedition lasting many thousands of kilometers. Rocky Mountains, Sahara? Where do you want to spend your next vacation? There are hardly any inaccessible areas with this vehicle. EXP EarthCruiser is an unusual motorhome produced in Australia, which is based on the Mitsubishi Fuso Canter truck. The first Fuso truck made its debut in 1963, and although it has changed many times since then, it is associated with reliability to this day. And the off-road version is simply amazing - huge ground clearance, huge wheels, exceptional off-road characteristics ... All this makes the EarthCruiser a car that (according to the manufacturer) can reach places that most people only read about in the newspapers.

More than a camper, more than an off-roader

Unicorn is like a distinguished man in his sixties - we can certainly count on him in important matters, but do not expect him to surprise us with a daring skateboard ride. And yet, on several points, the trailer of the 65-year-old Bailey positively surprises. Based on stereotypes, we can think that the Brit will be boring for sure. Only after a closer look will we find out that superficial assessments are not worth trusting, and that our new friend has many advantages. This is also the case with this trailer.

The 990 MHV is a motorhome by the French brand Rapido in a new version, prepared for 2013. It is one of the few motorhomes on the European market with a Mercedes star on the radiator grille. The model belongs to one of the two most prestigious series of the Rapido brand. It is here that we can expect such equipment and solutions that the manufacturer wants to be proud of. What distinguishes all models refreshed in 2013 can be found in their interiors. Solid maple or oak furniture is adjacent to leather sofas and brushed aluminum fittings . But even in versions without leather upholstery, light upholstery and white furniture inserts blend nicely with the darker wood of the cabinets. When designing the 990 MHV model, the manufacturer even cooperated with yacht designers to give the interior an appropriate, i.e. luxurious, style.
