How big does a motorhome have to be so that it is not cramped? According to Mario Marchi, owner and designer at Marchio Mobile, such a vehicle should be 12 meters long and 4 meters high. Its weight, due to the large amount of electronics and precious materials, is approx. 20 tons. Although the futuristic shapes give the impression that the vehicle was created very recently, the base of the car is the Colani model - a concept truck tractor presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in ... 1977! It must be admitted that this vehicle has not aged at all - it still looks more than modern.

Globetrotter XL is one of the largest models released by Dethleffs - an experienced manufacturer of caravans and motorhomes. Size XL obliges, which is why the largest vehicle in this series is 862 cm long (the smallest 792 cm). The width of each XL model is 233 cm. The car is not tall - it measures 293 cm. Both the front and other walls of the vehicle have been completely redesigned, so even a trained eye will not notice that the car was based on the Fiat Ducato structure. To find out, you have to look inside the driver's cockpit or under the hood.

It was there in 1999 that Finney became one of the designers responsible for "interior design" in spacecraft. The constructors' goal was to design the most functional living space in the smallest possible room.

Although it looks like a miniature truck, it doesn't even have a typical steering wheel, but one that seems appropriate for bicycles. The two-stroke engine with a capacity of 50 cc in many countries allows you to drive such a vehicle even without a driving license. Perhaps this is the reason why the APE 50 is so popular, for example, in Asia. It can carry more goods than a bicycle, is much more comfortable than a bicycle and provides a roof over your head. But to base the campervan design on such a structure?.

Over the years, the Bedouins have grown significantly, and their equipment has been expanded and modernized. However, they were always a little bigger and better equipped than the basic models. It was the good reputation that they enjoyed that prevented the manufacturer from replacing the name Bedouin with any other to this day. The Bedouin family currently has as many as 13 models in various sizes and different interior design. Their prices range from EUR 18,999 for the 450 FL model (649 cm long, 3 beds) to EUR 29,499 for the 740 RFK model (942 cm, 6 beds). As you can see, both in terms of prices and sizes, the gap between individual Bedouins is huge.

Niewiadów SA is not only a Polish trailer manufacturer. Recently, he is also a manufacturer of Romer motorhomes. Let's see if they can be a serious alternative to camping vehicles from Western manufacturers. It cannot be denied that the greatest advantage of Romer is its… price. 200 thousand PLN for a motorhome built on the Fiat Ducato Maxi platform, equipped with a 3-liter engine with 160 hp is relatively little. Especially if we look at the rich equipment. Niewiadów can also boast an extensive service network - about 30 authorized points in Poland will help keep the motorhome in good condition.

Sterckeman offers three models of trailers in 25 basic configurations. Interestingly, the largest selection will be in the case of the simple and light Starlett model (13 varieties), the more expensive Alize model comes in 9 varieties, and the most luxurious Espace model only in three. Don't let the name fool you - Sterkeman is a French company with a 60-year tradition. It has its sales points all over Western Europe. In Poland, this brand does not have an authorized dealer yet, which is a pity, because its offer is worth attention.

The T5 family of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is made up of many different versions equipped with powerful and fuel-efficient common rail diesel engines. The optional BlueMotion Technology package, which includes the Start-Stop system, brake energy recovery (recuperation), rolling resistance-optimized tires and cruise control, reduces the fuel consumption of TDI engines by 0.5 liters per 100 km. The T5 series offer has been extended with the BMT package for the 2.0 TDI unit with 180 HP. The changes in the engine offer also apply to the Volkswagen Amarok, which has received a new base unit. The previous 90kW (122hp) engine has been replaced by a 103kW (140hp) unit, which provides improved performance while maintaining the same fuel consumption.

The vestibule is not a mandatory element of a caravan or motorhome. However, it is worth having it. Why? The main reason is that you can protect yourself from the sun. On hot days, we will protect the motorhome from heating up, and at the same time we will separate a space that will allow us to rest in the shade. If for this it will be the so-called A "full" vestibule, which in addition to the side walls also allows you to cover the entrance to the caravan, we will create something like a veranda that will enlarge our private territory.

If we look at this trailer from the side, we will not be surprised. The black alloy wheels and aerodynamic edges of the Grande Puccini may appeal, but the look is in keeping with the canon of today's high-end caravans. The surprise will appear only when we look at the rear of this vehicle. The triple oblique lights on the sides of the trailer do not resemble any other known model. An additional impression is made by the large logo-coat of arms of the Tabbert brand placed in the center and, as if the coat of arms alone was not enough, a large inscription with the company's name.

Campers of the German brand Sunlight are advertised in Poland with the slogan "Perfection and quality at the lowest price". The lowest price in this case is approx. 40 thousand. euro gross. All Sunlight campers are based on the Fiat Ducato design. The width of each vehicle is 233 cm, but they differ in length and height. The length may vary from 623 to 728 cm. The height depends on the chassis variant. The T models are 291 mm tall and the A series models are 310 mm high. In total, there are as many as 11 variants of the Sunglight models to choose from. Interestingly, the cheapest version of the A58 is not the one that can accommodate the fewest people. This model can travel 4 people, while different versions of the Sunlight models allow for accommodation from 3 to even 6 people. However, it is worth mentioning that if more than 4 people are to travel in a motorhome, you need to buy a safety package with additional seat belts and headrests.
