Since 2015, liability insurance policies have gradually increased. Over the past 12 months, the average increase in prices has been around 10%. That's quite a lot, and the worst is probably yet to come. What will the new year bring us?. Many link higher prices with the introduction of the BLS (Direct Claims Settlement) system by several insurance companies in 2015. Nothing could be more wrong. BLS does not affect the prices of third party liability policies in any way, and their increase is rather caused by the introduction of special guidelines by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (Polish Financial Supervision Authority). They concern the situation of understating the compensation under third party liability insurance policies for the injured. The activities of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority are intended to curb this practice, and since the compensation is to be higher, the prices of the policies themselves as well.

International Tourism Fair in Wrocław - 26-28 FEBRUARY 2016

One of the leading European manufacturers of motorhomes has decided to build a new production hall in Nagyoroshi. The decision was announced on December 11. Over the next two and a half years, Knaus Tabbert GmbH will invest a total of around EUR 13.5 million in the construction of a new production hall, which will be built on an area of over 10,000 square meters. The planned investment assumes the target production of recreational vehicles at the level of 5 thousand. models per year. The earliest, next year, a new production hall will be built in Hungary. Ultimately, a production line for construction forms and a carpentry shop will also operate here. The investment will be crowned with doubling the production of caravans and motorhomes.

On 1 January 2016, electronic vignettes were introduced in Slovakia, replacing the classic vignettes stuck to the windscreen. Electronic vignettes can be purchased at selected petrol stations in Slovakia, at points of sale and self-service machines at border crossings, via the website www.eznamka.sk or via a smartphone or tablet via the mobile application "eznamka". Since the introduction of e-vignettes in Slovakia, their prices have increased slightly - for example, for an electronic vignette valid for 10 days from purchase, which cost €10 in 2016, we have to pay €12 in 2024.
