At the beginning of August 2016 it was time for the final packing and on the fifth day of this month we set off on our first long journey with a caravan. Good-natured Niewiadówka has undergone quick and renovation (replacement of power, towing handle, electrics); the tug with the rest, too, and you could swish. We left Toruń around 6 pm, choosing free routes through the Czech Republic and Slovakia, crossing the border in Cieszyn. We figured out a bit the route through Slovakia and landed on road number 14 near Banska Bystrzyca, which, to put it mildly, is not the most pleasant way to drive. It is not about ascents , ascents and descents, but about ordinary holes and the slab structure of the road. Honestly, Fiacik had unpleasant rocking and vibrations, which made the ride arduous. Plus rain and fog. Fantastic combination.

When traveling around the country, you will need an ID card. It will also be useful abroad (in the European Union), although in many cases you will need a passport and a visa (if it is mandatory in the place you are going to). Additionally: an EHIC card, entitling you to use public health services in the EU, confirmation of insurance and a vaccination booklet (depending on the destination). If you plan to rent a car, you will need a driving license. Discounted sightseeing will be possible with a student or pensioner ID. We stood on the harbor coast of Trieste, breathless with delight. Before our eyes, Friulia Venezia Giulia was waking up from its night sleep - one of the most charming corners of Europe. Many people planning to spend an active camping holiday in Italy consider this part of the Ligurian coast also because the water here is warm and very clean. We cannot forget about the advantages on land. Levanto boasts a long, sandy beach and lots of greenery - the surrounding areas are densely covered with olive and pine trees.
