If we are going on a trip in a motorhome or car with a caravan, we will probably not take ceramic tableware with us. We will need light and break-resistant dishes. Melamine cookware has dominated campsites for years for a reason. Dishes made of this material do not weigh much, and at the same time do not break, which means that they are perfect for short and long journeys - they will not overload our luggage and will not get damaged in a short time. Their resistance means that many parents use melamine plates and cups to prepare meals for their little ones - also at home. Children will like the intense colors and patterns of some sets, and the parents will especially appreciate the fact that the plate, when released from its clumsy hands, will not break.

What kind of camping cookware?

While visiting the south-west coast of Sicily, we will come across Trapani, a port city lying on a narrow promontory surrounded by the sea on three sides. It was founded in Roman times, and throughout its existence it served one role - a port, be it for the city of Erice, or for the entire Mediterranean Sea. Tuna was caught on a large scale and it was also known as a salt exporter. Today, salines (reservoirs for salt crystallization) with windmills are one of the attractions of the area. The abundance of birds, which chose the salt-saturated area for their home, add to their charm.

This year's Motor Show in Poznań was once again accompanied by the Caravanning Salon. For the first time, three halls are dedicated to campers, trailers and tourist accessories! How did the exhibitors surprise the visitors?. As usual, it is impossible to describe all the vehicles presented by individual companies. So we can only hope that both exhibitors and visitors will forgive us for the brevity of our report. CarGO Camping Center! It was not the first time that it surprised visitors with a very large stand, thus emphasizing the key position it wants to occupy on the Polish market. Uniformly dressed hostesses, on duty at individual Pilote and Bavaria motorhomes, made it impossible to ignore the offer presented on an area of 600 m2. Particular attention was paid to large campers such as the Pilote G740 and Bavaria I740 and the Dethleffs Camper 560 FMK trailer. It was at this company's stand that a competition was held in which you could win a camper for a week.

Caravanning Salon 2016 - how did the exhibitors surprise them?

The Austrian region of Mostviertel is a bit like a gigantic sack of candy, there are so many attractions there. Or perhaps a better example would be a pantry with many shelves on which dozens of bottles of amber drink would stand. The local specialty and delicacy is grape (freshly squeezed juice with skins, seeds and stalks), from which the popular region of Lower Austria takes its name. One of the most important attractions of Mostviertel is the more than 200 km long Must Trail, which stretches between the rivers Ybbs and Enns. Every two years, when we organize a rally in Niedzica, we try to visit Sokolskie Chaty in Gorlice. It is a lovely spot with two houses for rent. In spring, places that are crowded in summer are often empty. This is the case in Przeczyce. It is true that there are already a lot of lovers of relaxation in the bosom of nature and there are already trailers, but you can still find a lot of free space here, much more than, for example, on Pogoria IV. We usually enter a designated area from the side of Tuliszów. In high season, entry fees are charged there, they are not too high. Our second place for short trips is the roller in Góra Siewierska, and the third is Rogoźnik. You can fly a paraglider on the roller or just watch how it's done. You can also do off-road, because the conditions are great there and so are the views. Rogoznik is a water reservoir favored by the local population. This time we drove behind the old mill, to the end of the road, and then only gravel. There you can see the ruins of the old mill buildings, and even further, the ruins of the bridge that was destroyed during World War II. Off-road enthusiasts will also find something for themselves. It is worth taking a walk around the area.
