The 55th Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf confirms that the interest in motorhomes, caravans and tourist equipment continues to grow. From year to year, exhibitors are attracting more and more visitors, and tickets are being sold more and more. Where does such interest in caravanning come from? How is it that the fair in Germany is visited not only by tourists from Europe, but also from the United States, Australia and many Asian countries ? Apparently, more and more people dream of being free from hotels and fixed places to stay. They want to spend their time as they like, outdoors, with their friends. And there are many indications that more and more people around the world can afford to make their dreams come true.

The fact that the oncoming motorhome is Malibu is hard to miss, because the large inscription between the headlights is rather impossible not to notice. However, if someone is not particularly observant, the logo placed on the roof window, on the sides and at the rear of the vehicle will remind him of the brand. Why does the manufacturer care so much that the name of his motorhome is well remembered? Perhaps because among those interested in caravanning, Cathargo's parent company is still better known than its "baby" called Malibu .

How can you briefly tell about everything that can be seen at the Caravan Salon fair in Düsseldorf? This is of course impossible, so below we have collected only a few new products from various categories, which, for example, illustrate current trends. A brand that takes its participation in the largest caravanning fairs in the world very seriously every year is the manufacturer of motorhomes and caravans Hobby . An interesting fact is the fridge that went to the smallest motorhome called Vantana . In this vehicle, it was installed for the first time in a row of cabinets under the ceiling. The device, designed together with the Dometic brand, has a capacity of 90 liters and consists of two parts - one is opened by a lifting door, the other - by sliding the shelf (by default for drinks). The width of such a refrigerator is 1.40 m.

We know that minor inconveniences will not last forever, and the opportunity to spend time in beautiful natural circumstances will reward us a lot. It is also worth emphasizing that VANs are perfect for towing caravans (as well as regular caravans), but you must remember about the regulations that clearly define which vehicles can tow specific trailers. The weight of lighter models of trailers does not exceed 750 kg, and the term "heavy" is defined as those whose weight is higher. The total weight of the vehicle with the trailer (GVM) is also important - it is important if you only have a license for driving category B. In short, the regulations allow you to drive vehicles with a GVM not exceeding 4250 kg, so before choosing a trailer, the driver must analyze the weight of both vehicle and trailer, so as not to exceed the maximum permissible GVM value.

The manufacturer of luxury motorhomes - Niesmann + Bischoff announced the premiere of a new vehicle with great pomp. Journalists from all over the world were waiting for a great novelty, which turned out to be ... a semi-integrated motorhome with a slightly modernized "face" of Fiat Ducato. The first impression might have been sheer consternation. How is that? Niesmann + Bischoff, which produces huge "liners" with great (and award-winning!) Design, a symbol of luxury in the motorhome world, suddenly turns to "low-budget" vehicles? It takes a few moments to cool down and notice that the manufacturer's policy can make a lot of sense.

Fully integrated motorhome for less than 60,000 euro? According to the manufacturer, this is a sensation! And that's what Dethleffs tried to convince visitors to at CMT, where the new version of the Trend model had its premiere. And guess what? I guess he was right. Is it possible to buy a new motorhome for less than 60,000? euro? Yes you can. Can an integrated motorhome be bought at this price? It will not be easy, but it can also be done if we find a model with poor equipment and a weak engine.

Dethleffs Trend - more without overpaying

If you dream of an uncompromising caravan - perfect both for a trip to a plot and for a trip across several continents, we have probably found a model that will satisfy you. Bruder EXP-6 has everything you need. This caravan looks huge, but in fact it's not that monstrous ... Its total length is 670 cm, but the sidewall itself is 450 cm . The width is "only" 192 cm, but the idea was that the vehicle could enter a narrow path and that towing a trailer did not require the use of additional mirrors.

Aristeo is the top model of the Benimar brand, still little known in Poland, but in Spain it is the leader of the motorhome market. For several years, the company has also had its representative office in Poland, and the discussed model can be purchased, among others via Allegro, at the gross price of PLN 341,547. Why are we so eager to describe models of high-end motorhomes, when the sale of tourist vehicles at a price exceeding PLN 300,000 is only a narrow margin of the market in Poland? Well, these more expensive motorhomes best reflect the capabilities of a given brand. They show what ideas and technologies a given company can afford, when it does not have to cut costs as much as possible. There is also a good chance that if the top model in the range is successful, many solutions will also be transferred from it to lower models.
