What leaves the hall of the manufacturer Bavaria Camp may not be one of the Seven Wonders of the World, but it gives ordinary mortals a chance for a quite successful camping. BavariaCamp is one of the six brands belonging to the German KnausTabbert group. What distinguishes its offer is the focus on offering affordable, affordable motorhomes based on vans. The assumption is that Da Vinci is to be a caravan intended for young people (although the producer emphasizes that also for "young at heart"). What does he want to attract them? High-class interior furnishings, e.g. a wooden table, modern design, practical solutions. Perhaps the key to understanding the name should be the statement that Da Vinci has a rich interior, although from the outside it does not stand out with anything special (?).

Da Vinci - a trailer for Leonardo?

The middle class is not the same as the average class. In the collection of the French manufacturer Venicia Premium, it is second only to the luxurious Serenity model, dedicated to wealthy and not necessarily the youngest users. Antares Luxe and Allegra are the poorer sisters of Venicia. You can recognize the luxury in the details. In Venicia - the nicely contoured headrests of the sofas, the copper-colored washbasin, or the modern-looking on-board control panel. The most expensive version is the model marked with the number 550. With standard equipment it costs 21,290 euro. This model - like the others in this series - is intended for two parents with two children. However, it is longer than the others. It measures 7.35 meters, and its permissible total weight is 1590 kg.

Venicia - the standard of the middle class

Maneuvering a motorhome, and especially a car with a caravan in a tight parking lot, can be a real challenge. It may or may not! Even experienced drivers can find a reversing camera a big help. So there is a dilemma as to whether to spend money to buy and maintain a vehicle that will be standing rather than driving most of the time. However, is there any alternative? It turns out that it is, although let's be honest - it is not a solution for everyone.

If the price does not matter to you, but the greatest comfort is what counts, we have something for you. The American Prevost H3-45 VIP is the highest level of luxury that can be imagined in a motorhome, or rather - in a tourist bus. Do you want to make a great impression on other campsite users? Bigger is hard to imagine! The Prevost H3-45 VIP has a wheelbase of 8 meters and a height of 3.8 meters. Under the flat floor there are cavernous hiding places with a capacity of more than 500 cubic meters. The independent suspension is said to provide a truly regal travel comfort. But the fact that the interior feels like a palace is of course the main advantage of equipping this huge motorhome.

Prevost - the upper limit of luxury

Almost all campers are based on the construction of passenger cars, sometimes you can meet vehicles resembling small buses. The Liner de Luxe, however, is completely different, because its base is ... a MAN TGL truck with a 4-5 liter 220 HP engine. ... can impress not only with its external dimensions and spaciousness of the passenger area. The garage may be even more surprising. In a large motorhome, we can usually count on a storage space, which at best will fit a motorcycle. But in this respect, nothing beats the Carthago model, which can accommodate a Smart two-seater or a Fiat 500 four-seater!.

This motorhome is not made in Germany, although you can buy it there. It is also not manufactured in Italy, although it also has a dealer there. Novano 636 is being built in Pruszków, near Warsaw. The Polish caravanning market is growing in strength, and this is happening not only due to the increased import of camping vehicles from beyond the western border, but also thanks to Polish producers. Novano 636 is a motorhome built by the Polish company Doch. The base for this vehicle is the Fiat Ducato H3L4. The customer can choose versions with four different diesel engines - 2.0 (130 HP), 2.3 (150 HP), 3.0 (180 HP) and 3.0 in a more powerful version (227 HP). The permissible total weight of the vehicle is 3.5 tonnes.

Novano 636 - good Polish design

The smallest refrigerators can be mounted in the armrest, between the driver and passenger seats. When you open it, you see a container divided into several parts. One will perfectly cool the bottles, the other will fit several cans, and the third, the largest, e.g. sandwiches. Such a device can be from 10 to 23 liters and can be powered by both electricity from the battery and solar batteries. Thanks to the electronic panel, you can easily set the selected cooling temperature from +10 to -18 degrees C.

What kind of refrigerator for camping?

Before we set off on a coveted camping trip, let's check if we have everything. We certainly should not forget about the appropriate kitchen equipment. We'll probably be able to buy what's on the plate on the way. But what about the dishes and cutlery themselves? It is better to take care of them in advance. When choosing the right plates, bowls, cups or glasses, it is best to choose those that will be light and resistant to damage. Therefore, glassware tends to fall off. Those made of melamine or other materials will be better. However, it is necessary to check whether they have the appropriate approvals, so that eating a meal from a camping plate does not have a negative impact on health.

During the Motor Show 2013, as part of the accompanying caravanning event, not only motorhomes were shown (we write about them in separate articles), but also accessories that are worth remembering when getting ready for a camping. Among the stands there was also the representation of the Dometic Group. The company presented both devices necessary for caravanning and practical gadgets. The first one can certainly include a pressure flushing toilet. The Model 972 has a tank full indicator. The tank has a capacity of 8.7 liters, which means that one filling is enough for 27 flushes.
