The pilgrimage that begins the 2018 caravanning season will take place on 7-8 April 2018 . It starts on Saturday morning and ends on Sunday evening. In addition to prayers, time is planned for visiting Jasna Góra and Częstochowa. It is a country of underground rivers and caves, a paradise for cavers. The Slovenian land hides over 7,000 caves, including the most famous one located in the village of Postojna (Postojna jama). Another cave, Vilenica, hosts a Central European literary festival every year. As the first in Europe, the cave was opened to mass tourism - in 1633, by the decision of the owner, Count Petazzi, it was made available to the inhabitants of Lokev / Corgnale. Slovenia is a country of five historical lands, including the Prekmurje region, nestled between three countries: Hungary, Croatia and Austria.

Today, Brescia is a dynamically developing economic center with history in the background. It may come as a surprise that the city is not too crowded with tourists - even in high season. On the other hand, it makes it a great place for anyone who would like to get to know all the best in this country during their holidays in Italy , but without the disturbing crowds. You can start your tour from the Old Town, surrounded by the remains of city fortifications from the reign of the Venetian Republic. There are countless winding streets waiting for us there, and at every turn there is a cozy cafe where you can taste Pirlo, a combination of white wine, campari and mineral water. There are many squares in this part of the city, but one of them stands out - Piazza della Loggia . It is home to the town hall, a palace with a characteristic roof, and a building that is the center of the city's political, artistic and cultural life. Above the north-eastern part of the city, on a hill overlooking a beautiful view, is Castello . The squat walls and the multitude of fortifications of the castle testify to its strategic importance for the area. At the end of the 19th century, it was taken over by the city and now serves as a museum. On the outskirts of Brescia is the Mille Miglia , a museum dedicated to the famous car rally that starts and ends in the city and runs through the roads of northern Italy (the stop halfway through the race is Rome). The history of the rally dates back to 1927. The Mille Miglia takes place every year and is unique for two reasons - vehicles manufactured before 1957 start in it, and the route is only on public roads.

Have you heard about water-campers? Water campers allow you to travel by boat and a motorhome or caravan parked on board at the same time!. The Germans call them variously - "Hausboot", "WasserCamper" or from the English "WaterCamper". While the hausboot can take the form of a house on a boat, water campers are more like ferries with space for a camper or caravan . It is a great alternative to a yacht. People who would like to spend time on the water but have their own camping vehicle can take advantage of this by installing it on board. In such a situation, a camper or caravan will become a comfortable cabin with all amenities.

Baden-Württemberg belongs to one of the sixteen federal states of Germany. It is a sunny region, dominated by medieval castles and the untouched, unspoiled nature of the Black Forest and Lake Constance. We had been agreeing on the Voyager XS test with Elcamp (the manufacturer of Globe-Traveller motorhomes) for several months, but finally we managed to hunt down a free date only in mid-November. And because this is a particularly busy period in our editorial office, the test had to be extremely short. Short but intense! In four days we covered about 1000 km. At the beginning of the year, we tested a very similar model of this Polish manufacturer, namely the Pathfinder XS (description here: Winter camper test: Globe-Traveller Pathfinder XS ). Therefore, I will not elaborate on the interior layout - it is almost identical. However, I will try to describe the differences that I consider quite important and I hope that they will help you when choosing a new mobile home.

The Garda Trentino region is a great place for cycling. There are legends about many mountain and road routes. Nothing unusual. There are 44 marked routes, stretching for over 1,300 km. I think that this region is well known to lovers of two wheels, but it is not only a mecca for very active people, but also for everyone who likes communing with nature. I admit that the most beautiful routes leading along mountain slopes, providing amazing views, are mostly intended for experienced cyclists. This does not mean that there are no scenic trails for the average two-wheeler. The routes have been divided into three basic categories according to technical and fitness abilities: easy, moderate and difficult.
