Abruzzo for nature and history lovers
The central part of Italy, on the Adriatic Sea, is occupied by the extremely diverse region of Abruzzo. There are three National Parks, the Abruzzo Region Park, thirty nature reserves, and beautiful, historic towns such as L'Aquila, Pescara and Roseto degli Abruzzi. It is a real paradise for lovers of nature, history and monuments. Abruzzo is often called the green region of Europe , and for Italians it is also a "bridge" connecting the southern and northern parts of their homeland. The area is rich in virgin lands, covered with numerous forests, high peaks of the Alps, and the coast with sandy beaches stretches for 130 km . Among these amazing landscapes of Abruzzo you will find many charming towns where you can not only relax, but also admire the amazing architecture from many centuries ago and feel that the history of Italy and Europe is at your fingertips.
